Sometimes your opponent is lucky. Sometimes he's so lucky you don't have any chance to win. And sometimes he is just so incredibly lucky you are thinking to yourself "Is this some kind of bad joke???"

On a board with Hamlet-Library combo, my opponent got 2/5 while I got 3/4. I picked Swindler hoping maybe I will turn his Hamlet into an Estate or his Library into a Duchy. But this is what really happened:
— Headso's turn 3 —
Headso plays a Hamlet.
... drawing 1 card and getting +1 action.
... discarding 1 card and getting +1 action.
... discarding 1 card and getting +1 buy.
Headso plays a Library.
... drawing 1 card.
... drawing 1 card.
... drawing 1 card.
... drawing 1 card.
... drawing 1 card.
Headso plays 6 Coppers.
Headso buys a Hoard.
(Headso reshuffles.)
Ok, so he got them both in hand on turn 3, no problem, I will catch up...
— DrHades's turn 3 —
DrHades plays a Swindler.
... getting +$2.
... Headso turns up an Estate and trashes it.
... replacing Headso's Estate with an Estate.
HE TURNS UP AN ESTATE??? Well...he is one lucky guy...

Headso plays a Hamlet.

After that he finally got Library without Hamlet, but I must say, this is the biggest luck in the first 4 turns I have ever seen

I don't understand, why are you puting Hamlet in here! Whenever I have 2$ and going only for BMU, Hamlet is supirior to nothing, so it cannot be here!

« on: December 14, 2011, 12:32:07 pm »I've great stats with pirates, i love playing them. I've won almost all matches with Pirate ship but one.
I was shocked that someone can has great stats with an "not-always-a-good-card" like Pirate ship, so I looked at you on CouncilRoom and the truth is you played 14 times with Pirate ship and won only 8 of those

How about 2 tournaments a year with 512 contestants and then an EPIC battle of the two winners (best of 19?) with an article from someone (probably the winner) for every single game?
