I dont understand getting rid any of these cards and then leaving cards like Possession and Advisor and Haunted Woods and Sauna in the set.  Advisor might be strong but it sucks the life out of the game.  You just make 50 or so meaningless decisions about the player right before you.  I hate that card so much in multiplayer games I deliberately let the player have the best cards.

Instead we get rid of cards that are mostly just Kingdom blanks except when they are great, Might as well just get rid of Gardens and Philsopher's Stone while we are at it.

Is there some grand synergy I’m missing for Clerk? Or is it just “neat” to have a way to play multiples of them without needing +Action?

I guess it allows you to play multiple but forces you to do it at the start of your turn as a limiting feature?

Not exactly sure what’s going on there - need to play with it to figure out what it wants to do, which probably means it’s great for the game.
What he is saying is the card is a tad too strong in multiples.  Thus you can only play multiples if they start in your hand or you are willing to forgo the extra action.  For example in herald games or even worse governor games 2 coins plus action plus attack is too much value for 4 coins.

So no more Venture /Tunnel...  :-[

I almost always bought Venture and almost always won when I did and my opponent didnt.

Ill miss both the first two cards. Contraband is still one of my favorites when playing in person.  Its the extra buy that makes it good when the board is filled with choices and platinum is in the game Colony or double province isnt a behind play in some games.  Just turn off auto coins and play it first.

I also like Counting House in the right situations I have one plenty of games with it.

Glad to see Ambassador go (my longest banned card) its pretty broken even in two-player.
Sad to see Explorer go (massively undervalued card) .
I wont miss pirate ship but I am concerned 5-2 splits are going to see more kingdoms where they are dominant.   Too many 5-2 deck destructors can unbalance the game from the start.  That was one of the problems with saboteur (other than it being a bad buy for anything else).

Navigator was a great card for churning your deck:
It was strong with level up card as well as tunnel and one of only a handful of cards that can set a card 2 down for wishing well.

Pearl Diver:
Was a nice cheap more reliable target for Prince as well as cheap access for Herald, Scrying Pool, Peddler, Leprechaun, and any throne room effect.  What may or may not be missed is randomization density of 2 drops.  Dropping two "2's" and adding a "3" and a "4" does not bode as well for the 5-2 split (so far).

So kiln does not interact with wish...is that because it is not in the supply or (the lose track rule)?

This is my listing right now all though I am thinking of downgrading some of the band to dislike

Banned List
Lurker
Catapult
Sauna
Ambassador
Haunted Woods
Donate

Disliked List
Chapel
Remake
Rebuild
Black Market
Governor

My Reasoning:
Lurker and Ambassador are game warping cards very rarely in a good way, if one player takes one, the other players need to follow suit - in most matches.

Catapult and Sauna are more often than their fair share tilt cards.  Catapult degrades quickly and isnt much fun to fight against.  There are matches where the lone Sauna player will be too slow or can be caught with a depleted deck and exploited but in most matches this is the dominant strategy.

Haunted Woods - I like this card, but the Haunted Woods lock isnt worth playing with this card all that often.

Donate - I have abused this card way too often.  Donate/Robin Hood among the worse.  (Possibly should just be dislike - but for now a rest is warranted)

Chapel, Remake, and Rebuild  - In most games these cards are super under costed.

Black Market - I think this is a weak card, but in paper I ban it as it is too slow.  Online it can be fun, but seems a feel bad for my opponents when they desperately cling to a multi-action or multi-buy game instead of occasionally enjoying the single action/buy game.

Governor- A somewhat interesting card, but it is a promo on the super strong side.  Im kind of tired of the choice to quick race or Gold/Rebuild-to-6xProvinces.

I am considering Tax as it is often unfair to the starting player.
