(worse: No throne room on throne room or extra actions from +1 action cards. better: Makes engines run more smoothly as it is more adaptive to the situation.

I don't think it is mentioned explicitly, but only one entry per challenge and person.

Royal Library seems strong to me, but a reasonable and nice idea. You could also do a draw to X bonus, if you like to highlight the Library theme a little bit more.
You second card is less a throne room variant and more a variant of Band of Misfits or Overlord. Next to copying a card, the other main characteristic of a throne room is that the second play does not use an additional action.

For images, you could use for example this, this or herw's GIMP template to create them, then upload them to the image hoster of your choice and reference them here using the image tag. Just quote a previous post to see the code.

I'd suggest this saying "non-Duration action" because things get difficult tracking-wise. Like if I Desert Throne a Desert Throne which then thrones a Wharf - how long does the first Desert Throne stay out?

Also it may be a bit strong with terminal draw. Desert Throne - Smithy is equivalent draw-wise to 3 Enchantresses, and only takes a single Action to play.

This card does nothing that we don't know yet from Ghost(ing a Duration): if you play Desert Throne in T1, it hits a Throne which thrones a Wharf in T2, then all 3 Actions are discarded at the end of T3.

Yeah, nothing new here. The throne room always stays out as long as the card it is used on.
That's why I think it is okay at , because it delays the benefit to the next turn (for Desert Throne - Desert Throne even for an additional turn).
As comparison, also Throne Room - Smithy is a draw of 6 cards, but right now in your current turn and both cards are immediately back in your deck for the next use.

Speaking of tracking issues. I like the idea, to get an additional benefit for trashing your throne room like in Royal Hall, but tracking gets very hard if you use it on a duration card.

A delayed throne room. It takes some time to travel there, but that tent hall is not as expensive as the original one built from stone.

Is this putting everything from the mat into your hand at once, or are you choosing any you like from it? If the former, there's no point in the mat at all, just set the cards aside like Haven.
It let's you choose which and how many cards you like to take. "any" instead of "all". Is that correct wording wise?
It would be clearer if it was worded "any or all."

That's actually the same mechanic as with Flag Bearer and Flag.

Not exactly. Flag Bearer is much cheaper, there are other ways to get it besides buying, and you can also trash it to take the Flag. Oh, and unlike with this, you're guaranteed to get the benefit at least once. I just can't see myself ever wanting to buy this before my opponent. It's all too likely it will be $7 wasted.

Yeah, I can see that point now.

In my opinion, there is still some incentive to get it first, because you are forcing your opponent to do so, too, in a turn where it doesn't suit them or is not possible for them.
If your deck consists enough different cards, adding multiple tokens to piles should also leave at least one of them somewhere useful.

But overall, not worth the ...
Hopefully, I can come up with something better.

a wording question: is it clear that the reaction part is meant as „instead” of gaining a card or should i add „instead”?

Wasn't clear to me. In the current version, it sounds like the Reaction ability just happens additional to the gaining.
I would rather use "would gain" and "instead".
But you should listen to the advice from some native speakers here  ;)

You can download the image just by right-clicking on it.

On what browser? It doesn't work for me on Safari.

Just tested it myself and you are right. Safari does not have the right click option. Firefox and Chrome have it. Never realized that before...
I've added a download button for the full sized image  ;)

I think people would be discouraged from ever buying this. No one would want to be the first person to buy it, because then the next person can immediately screw them over.

That's actually the same mechanic as with Flag Bearer and Flag.
I hope it creates some mini-game.
Maybe only the threshold of is too high to make yourself a target...

Changed it to and added the restriction to place tokens only on new piles.
It's still more expensive then Seaway, Lost Arts and Training. Cheaper than Pathfinding, but that has at least the Advantage to place tokens on a pile where there are already some.

Luckily, nobody forces us to throw away those replaced cards. For instance, I still like to play with Thief sometimes. Especially, if there are many Treasures in the Kingdom.

Liked d's idea of moving someone else's tokens so much, that I had to do something like that myself.
(At least, that is where I've seen that idea first. No offense intended, if somebody else had it even earlier.)

Buying at no cost would be simply gaining.
I think the intent is to trigger on-buy effects, such as the Trashing token which is on-buy not on-gain. However, I find it a very clunky workaround.

Replacing Lookout, because:
1. Seaside needs a more predictable early-game trasher to deal with its two strong junkers
2. Seaside needs an alternative to buying Gold
3. The Trashing token (borrowed from Adventures) and Embargo tokens need more love
4. Countries that remove their Lookouts will have more Shipwrecks, and be Embargoed for Trashing their cargo!

Buying at no cost would be simply gaining.
Maybe not the best idea to fit all these features from later expansions into a hypothetical Second Edition of Seaside...

But apart from that, I love the idea to let other players place your Adventures tokens. So much interesting potential there!

Here is my take to replace Pirate Ship. I hope it is different enough from Privateer.
It also replaces the need for coin tokens and uses the big nice mat for cards instead.
As a duration, it fits nicely into Seaside.

Edit: Changed the wording to "any or all", to make clear it's possible to save cards on the mat for future turns.

This may seem like a dumb question, but how do I get the card from the creator onto the forum? I'm pretty illiterate in this field.
Despite the generator being a website, the image is only generated via javascript running locally in your browser, so there is no static image that can be referenced directly.
So you have to download the image from the generator to your computer via right-click option and then upload it somewhere at a image hosting service (for example imgur) to reference the image link from there using image bb code like this:

Added Dynamite / Dwarf from the Weekly Design Challenge #17

Also tweaked Dynamite, that is can also trash cards being in play. Is it then still okay at ?
Makes it stronger and Dwarf an even easier target.

Dynamite is great for blowing up Estates, but not so useful for Coppers.
Dwarf is a sifter that likes digging for dark places and might get you a Gold and a nice in the end, if you manage to hit him with Dynamite.



Oh, and this little one sneaked in:



Ever got frustrated because your oponent got that one nasty expensive attack and now effectively hinders you from getting it, too?
Copycat - sorry, I mean Town Cat - is the solution.
Okay, sometimes there are no Attacks in the Kingdom. But sometimes you even want a Necropolis at .

Wow, thanks. Didn't expect being runner-up.
And good idea! Might be a cool addition and I don't think excluding Copper is even necessary as it only gains cards costing up to more. Sure, there might be some cost-reducers around, but I'll count that as kingdom specific synergy.

There is generally a problem: if you want to print your cards (professionally), you have to test the given colours (of banners f.i.) and the dimensions of the card (how many pixel width is best) etc.. So (for me) it is the best to have a special template which is optimal for a professional printer shop.
If you only want to present your ideas here, a card image generator i quick and useful.

I think the intention of the card generator was not to produce printable cards but quick mock-ups. And that it solves fine.
For printing, there are at first the differences of text and number positioning in every browser and operating system and of course it operates in RGB coloring. A template in CMYK will always produce better results with printers. You can also see, that the colors in the online implementation are slightly different from the printed cards, as they are optimized for screen color compositions instead of printed physical color pigments.

Back to the fan-card-wiki:
At first: Great idea, but I am also not sure if the wiki idea is suited best (but I have no experience in building wikis).
For a custom implementation, I would say the most important features are searchability and filtering for different types, attack types, authors, fan expansions, cost, and so on.
The card image could be uploaded as a file. So every one can still use the template of their choice.
Integration of the generator would be nice, to reduce double entry. The difference here is, that the generator is currently implemented only in javascript and running locally in the browser. A fan-card-wiki needs some server with a database to store all the information.
Additional features could be comments and versioning of the cards. Or simply have referenceable URLs and keep the discussion here as it is.
Yeah. And a custom implementation still has to solve the login and potentially spam issues...

So much for my thoughts. This got longer than expected.
