Obviously, duhEFHW defending Joseph's stellar defense of Faust, but joth doesn't vote her for it???But Joseph made a good point that was missing from the discussion. It doesn't look like defending faust to me.Note for the record, that I pointed out faust playing out of character and Joseph rushed to his defense. Are you suggesting that in the 4.5 minutes between your post and Joseph's, Joseph and I coordinated that they should defend me?
Also scum has daytalk.

It's entirely possible he took the initiative to defend you without coordination. Either way, it pinged me a little.

Someone should definitely vote for shraeye here for the obvious defense of EFHW's defense of Joseph's defense of faust. I mean, it's pretty obviously a scum move.
It must've been ash that was against them, then. He's one of the people that would make an impression with their opinion.Yep, let's all mass claim, that seems sensible....
So 1/3rd of town is a bad exile, and 1/4th of players are probably willing to claim PR to get away with being D1'd? So about half the players are "bad exiles", quote unquote? And half of those players are good exiles...
I think this means we shouldn't be scared of outing people D1.
Well, that was a good topic, faust. I was thinking this game needed some setup talk, but wasn't quite sure how to start it.
Vote: math again. Hey, post some more!
Also, joth is town.
Remember, scum daychat is in discord now, which kind of changes a lot about expectations. Many people have their discords set up to give them notifications that they can get on their phones and on their computers. A scary amount of coordination is now possible. For the record, I don't have Discord set up this way, as I don't need Discord notifications for everything
Obviously people have overly high expectations of my game play ability. Also, not necessarily defending faust, just pointing out that it does make a vig better if they have infoNote for the record, that I pointed out faust playing out of character and Joseph rushed to his defense. Are you suggesting that in the 4.5 minutes between your post and Joseph's, Joseph and I coordinated that they should defend me?

I think there was so long between signup and launch that we all forgot it was an open setup.Well in this setup, I believe the vig has information on who they have killed, and they'd be the only person who could tell town this info? Which makes them more useful than normal (although I still don't think the vig should just start random crap shooting like they often do in games)
This setup looks really annoying -- we basically don't get night flips. So even if exile weren't mandatory, I would be strongly advocating against no exile because exiles are our only source of information. But we absolutely need to allow claims because exiling a town PR is just extra awful.
This is a weird take from faust, who IIRC believes that vigilantes are negative utility.
Just take a guess on who you think is scummyIs everyone else voting one of their scumreads?
How does one obtain such a thing at this point in the game?
I haven’t made very many posts. So you may have to just take my word that in towny. In towny as in infriltrating the town like a scum/SK would?
Under this logic, maybe we should vote for shraeye, for saying "explain" tooExplain
Well first there was this:Vote: faust
Obvious SK-tell.
Then there was this:Explain.
Hello everyone! Finally, another mafia game.Vote: physics

If only I were that clever.... and also scumIf this is true, this is going to go down in forum history as the most disastrous townie mistake of all time.
No offense, Joseph.
On the one hand, why would Joseph be lying now? There's no Governor role so no real reprieve. On the other, why would Joseph have lied in the first place??? (yeah, I hear you, it was a mistake...)
There's always the possibility of a troll. Or he's worried that if he admits to being scum he'll accidentally say something he shouldn't during twilight.
Maybe scum decided it was worth sacrificing Joseph to get rid of the town's mayor, and Joseph cooked up this crazy mistake defense overnight.
I'd be more incentivised to lie now (if scum) than to start with (as town)....If this is true, this is going to go down in forum history as the most disastrous townie mistake of all time.
No offense, Joseph.
On the one hand, why would Joseph be lying now? There's no Governor role so no real reprieve. On the other, why would Joseph have lied in the first place??? (yeah, I hear you, it was a mistake...)
But then again, neither does scum making this claim - having to know they'd be caught today. So 🤷♂️. I just don't get it either way.exactly. me <> scum
I can see, possibly, very unlikely, confusing having one PR for another. But confusing VT and PR? No way.
I think there are 4 possibilities:I wish that 3) was true
1. Joseph is town, and misread/forgot his role.
2. Joseph is scum, and he / his team didn't think about the likely fallout of targetting Dylan.
3. Joseph is town, and intentionally fakeclaimed with some plan.
4. Joseph is scum, and intentionally targetted Dylan, hoping that we would get into the WIFOM of situation 2, and end up concluding 1 or 3.
PPE 1, oo, hammer?
From my perspective, Dylan wasn't roleblocked N0/D1 (as him having 2 votes makes the maths work, with me having 1 vote)I think everyone except scolapasta has posted. I will hammer once scolapasta has had a chance to post.
Dylan might have been roleblocked.
Joseph VT makes more sense than scum.
1. Joseph is an idiotI just don’t see any way that someone jumps the gun to claim mayor when we hadn’t even finished discussing the wisdom of doing so making a mistake with their role. It seems far more likely it was either a plot and/or a lie.
PPe 2
Joseph would.
