I'm switching back to Vote: PPS since my case on Eevee is contingent on PPS also being scum. In fact, PPS is not a bad lynch since if he's town I can go after O and if he's scum I can go after Eevee.

So your entire case against me is dependent on PPS flipping scum -> if PPS flips town, you won't suspect me anymore? Don't see how voting me makes any sense in that case. (And that I can absolutely agree with, if PPS is scum my actions must look very scummy. Although maybe too blatantly obviously scummy to actually be mafia, but still.)

PPS flipping town won't clear you, but you and O defended PPS in very different ways. Yours looked an awful lot like coaching a partner, O's looked like distancing himself from a lynch he knew was town.

I never said "all people who are active are scummy". Thanks for misrepresenting though. I said "All active people invariably do things that will be perceived as scummy to some people" - Please, name me one game, just one, with one person who went from D1 to the finish without being accused of saying or doing even a single thing suspicious.

That was my argument, and is completely valid.

Well this game took a dramatic turn to the not as fun. I will not be posting today (busy day for me ahead) and I will be considering whether or not to continue playing this game. Mafia is supposed to be fun. And this game is becoming increasingly less fun and subsequentially less interesting.

I sincerely apologize if I am the cause of the decrease in fun for you.  And for other people.  This is not my intention at all.  I'm thoroughly enjoying this game, and have meant all my posts in earnest, or in good fun, or a mix of both.  No actual anger has driven any of these posts.  I hope we can continue to enjoy this game together.

I feel like one thing ZM2 did accomplish (besides MAKING HISTORY) was that I think I understand shraeye a lot better and how he plays. It has made him read townier to me this game.

Why DID the ehunt wagon die? He really did start out the game much edgier and more hostile than I'm used to from him and then eased off it when criticized/voted on. And as much as I approve of using wagons to police good behavior, the fact that he straightened up when the heat hit him doesn't really give him town cred at all. It's what smart scum would do.

But I did know what I was doing Day 1. I know it appears that I just flailed around and happened to hit scum, but I was really playing a pretty high level game. By the time Frisk flipped, I was pretty sure he was scum.

Well, ok, there was some flailing. But the ratio of skill to flailing was, I would humbly suggest, higher than it looks. Which I'm excite about only because I'm usually not a super helpful townie (and my winrate on this site is atrocious).

Ok, this has taken on a disturbing "newbie vs vet" tone that I don't think is in the interests of fun play.

Message received that the veteran players are being too clubhousey with unnecessary references to past games. Let's try to be a welcoming community.

Also, let's keep the tone civil and the personal attacks to non-existent, if you all don't mind. I learned early on (specific reference omitted) that the game gets a lot less fun if people get RL feelings hurt.

I pretty much never get a scum read on Robz. Sometimes I can convince myself to vote him based on evidence, but he's really very good at seeming town to me.

Basically if Robz is to be lynched, you probably can't count on me to be on that wagon.

O, on the other hand, I will usually defend even if he's being obnoxious, because it's a pro-town kind of obnoxious (in fact, O is the only one I know who actually can pull off pro-town obnoxious).

But this game O has seemed a little more intentional and invested. He really does seem like he's trying to be the superhero that saves town PPS from lynch. If O is scum, I think PPS is probably actually town.

So I appreciate O's vote of confidence, but I think he's scummy and will leave my vote on him.
