Dominion General Discussion / Chase's non randomized sets of 10
« on: April 22, 2018, 09:15:16 pm »
I like to make non randomized sets of 10 to play. I've made two that are absolutely brilliant.
Black market (put every kingdom card in the pile instead of 60.) bane: coin of the realm menagerie tunnel university silk road crown jester tactician fairground prince                 p&c    shltr                    use only one knight one castle and one of each split pile
You start with all the heirlooms and the shelters so menagerie is crazy powerful especially if you set it aside with prince
Combos:bm/men bm/tac bm/fair men/fair tun/tac

The other one is: ghost town menagerie bridge nomad camp silk road bazaar laboratory noble kings court city quarter

Okay guys I decided to start this tournament that is going to happen every year. We are going to have 12 different divisions, one for each expansion except for promo since there are only eight and we need at least ten. You will play your game with that expansion only. There will be eight people per expansion and when you lose a match you are out. Matches are best out of 3. Then the winner for each expansion will go to the finals where they will play with their expansion and their opponents expansion at the same time. How you sign up is you tell me your shuffle it name and your favorite expansion. If there are 9 people signing up for the same expansion it is first come first serve. If you are the ninth one I will message you personally and ask you what your second favorite expansion is. Thanks and have fun.

Dominion Videos and Streams / Stupidest guys ever
« on: April 13, 2018, 06:55:48 pm »
Have you seen dominion tips and tricks ep 1, best and worst card. If you haven't watch it now and you will laugh so hard because they are really stupid. i thought it was really weird when he said that Matt was doing bad when he was really doing really good and Sasha had 9 villages and only 3 coins. I had never seen a village idiot play dominion until I saw that video. Personally I would like to play against him and beat the crap out of that village idiot.

Game Reports / I just killed lord rattington
« on: April 05, 2018, 01:21:27 am »
I gave him all of the curses he managed to trash one of them with sentry, but then the curses cluttered up his deck that I got all of the provinces, and the final score was 59-0

There is a way better way to do it. Once nocturne came out there has always been the problem with black market and tactician not letting you play your night cards. But with tactician/villa/changeling you can play a villa in your action phase with your other action cards except for your tactician. Then play your treasures and buy something then play your night cards and play your changeling last. Then when you play your changeling use it to gain a villa since you would have one in play. Then play that villa and then the tactician.

Introductions / Chase Adolphson's intro
« on: April 03, 2018, 04:28:58 am »
Hi guys. I never introduced myself so I'm doing it now. Ever since I played my first game of dominion I got really obsessed with it. So far you guys have helped me learn a lot of new strategies and I will probably learn a lot more from you. Thanks! My family and friends don't play dominion that often, so I'm glad to be talking with people that play dominion about 24/7 like I do. Some of my friends even say dominion sucks! CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think games with just the base set are fun because its dominion but its kind of boring at the same time because you miss out on a lot of concepts. I love games with expansions though. Do most people agree with me? I'm just kind of curious. As you have probably noticed I argue a lot and don't give up very easily.
