Before the banlist was introduced, dominion.games kept Possession out of the ranked card pool. When they introduced the ban list, all existing accounts had possession automatically placed on their banlist. Accounts created since do not have it on the banlist, but there's loads of dormant accounts that have not changed it since.

While I'm here, here's my banlist:

Posession: The only card I truly consider a mistake, there's just so many problems with this. The stackabke full extra turns is super boring to play against is my worst gripe, before getting to the awful unfun effects it has on many games.

Cultist: Mega-swingy and too dominant while creating games that aren't fun.

Mountebank: Mega-swingy and too dominant while creating games that aren't fun.

Urchin: Tired of opening double-Urchin being good but swingy and if you miss it you're doomed.

Knights: Just too many unfun games that I got tired of.

I don't ban any landscapes.

The browser is not displaying the stacked card counts, I think this is happening on some older versions of Safari. So you have 3 Coppers in hand, not 1.

7. Counting house - it’s a weaker copper strategy to be sure. But I can see them replacing since it doesn’t work with most of the synergies in this expansion. It only works with forge, it’s only real synergy. I guess it’s okay with the bank, but then so are most of the other cards.
I am curious, what's the Counting House + Forge synergy?

New Merchant Guild only counts gains for the buy phase that ended. Returning to your action phase via Villa or Cavalry means any gains that happened in that buy phase don't count, as it never reached the end.

So you start multiple buy phases, but only the last one reaches the end.

Don't worry, I googled it and there are over 10 million colours, so unless Donald X seriously picks up the pace I don't think we'll run out of landscape colours any time soon.

I take it that the "Action cards in play" for Emporium would include any Falconer, Black Cat, Sheepdog and Village Green played out of turn during the same turn.  Is that correct?
Only the ones in the play area of the person gaining the Emporium. Specifically it counts actions you have in play, where you refers to the person gaining it.

This discussion is nearly 9 years old and both Pillage and Procession have had their wording changed since this discussion started (although Procession's wording change is not relevant in this case).

Pillage used to always give Spoils and do the attack regardless of if it was successfully trashed or not. This changed in 2019, its now conditional on successfully being trashed in order for the effects to happen.

Procession not gaining you an Action card has nothing to do with the stop moving rule and will work regardless, in this case I imagine the real problem was that there was no Action card costing $6 to gain.

I just tried a test game forcing Procession, Pillage and Nobles, and gained a Nobles from Processing a Pillage just fine.

@kieranmillar first and foremost, whoa! you can view logs of games? mind pointing me in the direction of how to do that?
Sure. On the Dominion Discord you can PM DomBot with the command "!prior aawolf" to get your last played rated games, this got me the appropriate game id. Then on the online client, I went to the New Table tab, clicked Load Old Game, and put in the game id. Then I added a bot to represent your opponent, set the player order so I took over your moves, and loaded the game. This took me to the last decision of the game (just before you bought the final Province) with the whole game log loaded. It showed me as taking your turns and Lord Rattington as takingnyour opponents turns, but the log was otherwise correct.
re: Farmer's Market: I'm sorry I'm not quite sure how that could be possible. The Farmers' Market pile collection most definitely "wrapped around" during the course of the game (sent back to zero and started accumulating).
Farmers Market gives points every 5th play of a copy of the card. It was played 9 times in total throughout the game. Play #5 was played by your opponent so they had 4 victory tokens. But it wasnt played enough times to give a second set of points. On your final turn you played it the 8th and 9th time, giving you $3 and $4 on each of those plays, you needed to play another Farmers Market to score points.

You are right that nothing stops you from receiving the points when inheriting Farmer's Market, as it is not conditional on trashing the card.

However you are mistaken about you having played an Estate when the pile had 4 tokens on it. I found and loaded the game (id 73342850) and checked the log, and you never did that.

You still get an effect next turn, +1 Card. If it was +0 Cards, because it was something like a Duration Apprentice that trashes now and draws next turn and you trashed a Copper, then it wouldn't stay out. It may not draw you any cards in the end, but you still got a valid non-zero effect. A card only fails to stay out if the next turn result is all zeroes, if you get what I mean.

Consider as well Mastermind, giving you a "you may" choice next turn, and you are planning to decline the offer for some reason. It would still stay in play because it will still be doing something next turn, giving you a choice, even if that choice ends up having no practical outcome.

You will show the last card you clicked on to discard. Think of it as discarding them in the order you clicked on them, so the last one ends up on top.

If you're playing automatch games, then you're just unlucky.

If you're playing on custom tables then the host can choose the player order.

In that case you would look at the single card remaining in your deck then put it back, no decision to make.

The part about shuffling is referring to you not having a deck at all, ie Pearl Diver was played when you only had a one card deck. But I can see how the wording can be confusing and the FAQ could have been clearer.

Dominion.games has an autoplay option under Province called "Keep bad cards in exile". This may also apply to Estates when enabled. This may explain what you were seeing if you have it enabled, but I'm not certain.

Did that change at some point?  Because I thought I remembered having to specifically turn that option on, but maybe I'm just misremembering
Oh you may well be right. It's probably originally turned off but I changed it to be on by default so long ago that I've forgotten what state it is in for new accounts.

Speaking of autoplay, there should also be a way to make Moneylender not trash a Copper when you play it. I once lost a game because I needed a Moneylender and Copper in play to activate my Magic Lamp.
