What if every profile on the forums was just one person with an out-of-control case of schizophrenia? Pretty creepy, don't you think?

But we're all Wandering Winder.

Except for Sudgy, of course.

In a Shelters game you always buy an Estate over nothing on a 5/2
You might do that. I, on the other hand, prefer trying to win.

Buying Estate on a 5/2 Shelters board is far less skippable than people think. ;)
With more Alt-VP that costs less than $5, estates are more skippable then they used to be.

This looks cool. I wonder how much it will influence the "oh well, might as get a ___" buys. I seem to have a lot of those.

This image is amazing! I would classify this as some of the best art in Dominion.

Asper, do you have a link for this image? Could I use it for my own fan cards?

Yesterday when it was dark out, my wife stepped barefoot onto a slug, she heard the squishy sound and it was all wet and slippery, ugh. Has to be top 10 of worst things ever, just below having no feed, shelter, war, etc..

I don't know about you, but I'd rather starve in a war-torn country than step barefoot on a slug.

Me too. Once at the beach, I stepped on a dead fish skeleton. It was terrible. If I ever commit murder or become a dictator, tack it down to that mental trauma.

This is an idea for a fan card I came up with. I'm worried it might be too strong for $4 though, because of how well it pairs with Tournament, Crossroads and others. What do you guys think?

Surveyor-$4-Action

Reveal the top 4 cards of your deck. Put the revealed Victory cards into your hand. Put the other cards on top of your deck in any order.

Dominion Articles / Re: Delve: A Brief Overview

No comments. Is it that bad?

I think it may be too early for Empires articles. In the article itself, you explicitly make a "bold prediction" based on limited playing time.   That's basis for discussion, not a full-fledged article. As it is, maybe the lack of comments is because people don't feel they're familiar enough to point at stuff to say that it's wrong or they agree, because they have yet to form an opinion.

As someone who hasn't played with Empires yet, I actually think early is when these articles are the most useful. Later a lot of people will be able to figure this out on their own. But now you already know a lot about this card (assuming you read the whole article). Before you first game. Also, this isn't such a complex card, I don't think a terrible amount of experience is necessary to write something like this, just some. Great work though, Seprix!

What exactly do you mean by which card was cutest?

Wait, Curses are bad? But in the Base Cards edition, people are Raven about them. Now I guess I'll have to eat crow before people give me the bird.
You're gonna get some ill-gotten groans for this post.
Witch post? I can't sooth-see any posts, you hag.

I swear, the witch pun was hextremely predictable.
Curses! I wanted to make that joke.

Then why is your post so much later? You must be a Swindler!

Note that the above statement does not exclude bribes in currency other than winking faces.

When you buy Stonemason, can you overpay with winking faces?

Yes, you just can't go into winking-face debt.

Actually, you would get two cards costing the amount of winking faces you overpaid.

The new version of Refurbish (from Enterprise, by LFN) got me thinking...

Quote
Usurer: Action, 4$
+1 buy
Gain two Coppers. Trash this or a non-Treasure card from your hand.

While this card is in play, Copper produce 2$ more.

Power level might be wildly off. The idea is a card that is rapidly destroying your deck, but that actually thrives in the sort of deck it creates, if only you can sustain it long enough.

Thoughts?

Looks to me like a better Coppersmith. Since I have limited experience with Intrigue, I'm not sure how it would play out. Looks interesting, though  :).

Masterpiece/Feodum is pretty awesome. Worker's Village/Goons.

Don't forget Counting House/Artificer.

So someone who is new to the game would then be called a "doobie".

Or a "dombie".

lol remember when Ill Gotten Gains was a great card and when people thought removing 1 Curse from the pile somehow completely broke an otherwise viable strategy

Yeah, we were never fooled like those sad, pathetic noobs.

I was going to have a 116 point City Megaturn, but my opponent 3 piled and beat me  :-[.

I just had a turn when I got 8 provinces and a Duchy to end the game. Me opponent ended with -4 due to Mountebank.

So I have all Dominion expansions IRL but Intrigue, Alchemy and Empires. I was planning on getting Alchemy next, but the people I play with don't think they will like it. So how good is Alchemy? Is it worth getting before Intrigue and Empires, after, or not at all?

Kurt Miller was always my favorite artists. Maybe we should have a poll where we vote for our favorite artists?
