Added 5 new cards! ;D
Seige
-+Action on the start of your next turn
-Cost reduction is "While this is in play"
-Specifies adding an extra event
-Extra event must cost at least 2
Settlement
-Increased points to 3
-Gives one point on the tavern mat
-Swapped the +action and the +buy
River
-Now directly plays the ruin
-Lets you trash the ruin after playing it instead of drawing a card
-Costs 4
Escort
-Simplified wording (Thanks to Co0kiel0rd)
Lagoon
-Removed discarding with no estates

Here's mock-ups of Co0kiel0rd's Dry Docks and Secret Society and LibraryAdventurer's Ancient temple with different art.

I just like this art better, and if anyone else does than feel free to use these versions.

Variants and Fan Cards / Re: MJ's Cards

Asper made an updated version of jewler, which is the one I was reffering too.
I didn't know update version exists. Where? Earns $3?

It would be better as a non terminal 5 cost.
It is almost always better than Band of Misfits if this is non-terminal. Too good, I think. Terminal Mercury is still one of the strongest 4-cost cards, I agree. I tried $5, P, none of them seemed attractive.

How about this one?
Quote
Mercury(C)
cost $4 - Action
Trash a card from your hand.
Gain a card costing up to $4.
Yeah, thought there might me a good comparison for a 5 non terminal mercury but I was to tired to think of it. Mercury B might work with an if you did clause.
Quote
Trash a card from you hand. If you did, gain a card costing up to 4 (3?) coins, putting it into your hand.

Whoops! Looks like Asper switched back to the old version of jeweler. My apologies, didn't catch that. Dang, now I'll have to reprint the card...

1460
I'm a photoshop novice, and it seems like a pain to mess with all the coin symbols, fonts, and stuff when I'm doing it. Besides, I don't care as much about the look of the card. For someone who's better at photoshop (and cares more), go ahead and add them.

About the art I chose: Wherever I could make it work with the card name, I chose photos taken by my dad on his travels for card art. And the photograph for the Trailblazer card was taken by someone else I know.
If people prefer other art, that's fine, I'm just happy to have people print & play with my cards.
Thanks!

Asper made an updated version of jewler, which is the one I was reffering too. Treasure ship seems like a great card but mercury seems like it would be better as a non terminal 5 cost.

Retested Senteniel. Still seemed a bit weak. The current version seems more like a trashing courtyard variant,  and maybe should cost 4.

1463
I prefer more thematic art. I found a good image and mocked up an improvement. I'd figure I would share it just in case somebody else wanted it.
Other differences include actual coin symbols and Optimus Princeps for card name and types. I'm hoping to do gargoyle and building blocks too. No offense to your art prefrence, but just thinking other people might prefer actual art instead!

My wife and I tend to play Colony-Platinum most of the time, in which Cloister seems a comparatively better buy. But that makes sense as an analysis in many Province games. Though of course it depends on the other card combos--TfB, alt-VP, and deliberate Cloister-chaining strategies.
Cloister is a niche card. In the niches it excells, but usually it's a 6 cost duchy.

I thought Cloister and Sentinel were great as-is. (The only other ones you mentioned that I've played with are already on your great cards list.)
Sentinel is kind of balanced, but I think it needs a bit more. It's a little bland for a 5. I'll try it in another game and see how it does. Cloister needs 2 shuffles to actually use it's ability. I think it should cost 4 and give 2 points. In the game I played it either never got trashed, or it got trashed and never reshuffled. Early game I'll almost always want gold or a power 6, late game cloister's about the same a duchy for all the good it will do you. I guess it's great in a platinum-platinum-woodcutter-cloister-cloister golden deck but still seems underused to me.

What's the point of the "Discard any revealed cards costing more than 7" thing on Ancient Temple? Was it meant as a boost, as a nerf, or is it just there to ensure it doesn't have too little text?
It's an improved mock up of LibraryAdventure's card, ask him.

1469
Just mocked up the original version of this card (Too lazy to do all the others). The only thing I changed was the cost which was reduced to 4. This should make for funner games.

I think you said this wrong. The cost in your card is $5, and the original cost is already $4.
Oops, looking at barracks 1. As for the cost I must have uploaded the wrong version. Fix that in a bit.

Stockpile (drop the "when you play this" clause)

Nope! All Treasures that have an on-play ability use "When you play this". Check out Philosopher's Stone, Loan, Contraband, Venture, Bank, Horn of Plenty, Ill-Gotten Gains, Counterfeit, Spoils, Coin of the Realm, Relic, and Treasure Trove. Fool's Gold is the exception, but it's tight on space and it still has a phrasing that makes it clear the ability happens on-play.

Thanks again for testing so many of my cards! I'm glad you enjoy them (Floodgate, Fund, Auction, Convoy, General, Dignitary, and Stockpile).
Really? I guess I should have reaserched the subject more thuroughly. Sorry!

Good ideas. Fortified village seemsvery niche though.
Well, if all else fails, it is a village.

All these detailed posts are wearing me out! Rapid fire review time!

Great Cards: These cards seem balanced and will work fine in most games.
Hidden Trap, Archipelago, Hunter, Synod, Abbey, Fountain, Floodgate, College, Spellbook, Incantation, Research, Retort, Ascetic, Fund, Auction, Decree, Convoy, General, Sunken City,Barge, Dignitary, Alley, Carpenter, Stockpile, Redistrict, Search Party, Vendor, Crop Rotation, Assemble, Ghost Town.
Good Cards: Balanced, but need some cosmetic changes or better wording.
Vizer (off-color border), Castle, (off-color border), Emissary (if the game ends on another player's turn), Arcanium (thicken line), Battlefield (renamed skirmish, clarification for ties),Fief (gain the attack subtype), Catacombs (rename caverns), Scriptorium, (drop the "from the supply" clause)
Okay Cards: Need slight changes or adjustments.
Jeweler (Cost 6), Suq (Change the treasure top decking to -1 coin token), Shaman (change top of deck to shuffle in, Elixir (Cost 2P, potion gaining mandatory), Warlord (Discard down to 3 cards), Surprise Attack (Drop the "Discard It" phrase), Keep (Drop the discarding, set aside cards other than durations), Recruiter (Bold +1 action, drop +action from first choice, remove line, change bottom phrase to "If you have two other attacks in play"), Sentinel (+3 cards, put any number on top of deck), Patron (Increase value of any or all coin symbols, add a "while it is in play" clause.), Mining Camp (Gain silver if you didn't gain a ruins), Excommunication (Drop the +buy, cost 2), Harlot (Cost 3), Escalation (Cost 3, trash for reaction), Suburb (Drop the +coin), Hospital (Add "When you gain this, put three victory or curse cards from your discard pile on top of your deck), Gold rush (Add cost reduction cap of -1), Monastery (draw to 5 or until you have drawn 2 cards), Sheriff (Only give +1 coin if you spent a token)
Bad Cards: Wouldn't play with these, need serious fixes.
Battle Strategy, Cloister, Royal Demesne, Harbinger, Draw-to-X Villages.

Phew! If you need a detailed explanation of my reasoning or a link to the source thread feel free to ask!

Starting a thread where I can keep my fan cards.
River and Market Day are unused images from Asper, Exploration Vessel is an old paining, can't seem to find the artist of fortified village. Siege, Settlement, Escort, and Lagoon are all found on deviantart.

Siege: As soon as adventures came out, I was surprised that none of the cards interacted with events. Maybe empires will fix that, but until then here's siege. It combines three concepts; making events cheaper like bridge, preventing other players from buying events, and letting you solve puzzles with 3 events without cheating.

Escort: A reaction-reserve-action-attack. Yes, I know the image doesn't say attack, that will be fixed soon. I have no idea what the balancing on this one is since it has so much going on. As a quick rules clarification, you can put it on your tavern mat in response to an attack and call it against the same attack.

Fortified Village: I liked Co0kiel0rd's battlement that was a reaction without being a reaction. I tried a similar concept on this. It's not a reaction, but it reacts to a card being trashed. It is a bit niche, granted, but on any board with a one shot or TfB it's can be pretty useful. And, if all else fails, maybe it's the only village on the board.

Lagoon: I've always been intrigued by setup effects. Baker wouldn't be special without the setup effect. Here's an interesting effect. It makes baron much more OP, but you probably won't start with a $5 opening.

Market Day: Overpay on an event! Gazillions of buys! I always hated when you have 18$ and 1 buy. You could traveling fair 2 provinces, at the expense of your next hand. Now you can get all the buys you need and empty that estate pile in no time.

River: An old idea, what if ruins became good? Self-cursers are pretty common but self-looters are rare. Now ruined library becomes the best thing ever and with a river in play it will never hurt to have a few abandoned mines laying around. Prince of rivers is now the ultimate counter to cultist!

Settlement: Distant lands gives you VP for being on your tavern mat, settlement wants to stay off. Maybe you need that 3 for a province, or maybe you just need an extra buy. This could be used a s Settlers of Catan promo. The balancing may be off on this one so be warned!

Trading Vessel: It does two things better than amulet, but it restricts your options. Probably the most balanced card here. Enjoy!

Decay: A event looter. The non-looter part I had an idea for for a while and the ruins is just because there aren't many attack events.

Cottage: The spend vanilla bonuses card. The exchanges may need some work, and I had to invent my own lingo, but I like the cad anyway.

Reconstruct: The reaction part needs some work. I went with this version just because it was the most workable one I could think of. The other option was AFTER the player draw the card but that didn't keep you accountable so it was ditched in favor of a slightly more annoying version.

Scenic Village: Mini Champion, why not? It will give you unlimited actions, but only for one turn. Why all the actions? The tourists want to help you out.

Stronghold: The market version of Hireling, this card is probably pretty balanced. Fun Fact: A friend of mined came up with the original idea and I just tweaked it and made a mock-up!

Reinforcements: Interesting attack, stacks exactly twice! This is a counterpart to torturer, where you get to chose the bad stuff!

Forum: This one still needs some wording changes I know so please refrain from mentioning them right now.
