Scouting party-tunnel is way way fast
I would be interested in your thoughts on the card below:I think it should force discard cards costing more than instead of not discarding victory/curse cards
Tithe $6
Action - Attack
+1 Card
Each player (including you) with five or more cards in hand must discard a card that is not a victory card or a curse (or reveal a hand comprised entirely of victory cards and curses). You may gain a card up to the combined value of all discarded cards. If you gain a victory card, trash this.
Apparently I am vastly underestimating the power of Raze... it sits near the bottom for me and is no where to be found in the bottom third.Non terminal trashing is best kind. That's why lookout is the best card in the game.
Ruined market is the only ruins that makes me question playing cultist on an engine board with good trashing and no buyYou should probably use cultists to dig through the ruins pile until you find a ruined market. The stop playing cultists and buy it.
When a player discards a Traveller from play, he may exchange it for the card indicated; he returns the card being exchanged to its pile, takes the card he is exchanging it for, and puts that card into his discard pile. For example when exchanging Peasant forDoes pile count as the black market pile?
Soldier, he puts Peasant back into its pile and takes a Soldier and puts it into his discard pile. Exchanging is not trashing or gaining, and so does not trigger abilities like Travelling Fair's.
Treasure trove is better than venture. It plus BM is miles ahead of venture plus trashing. They are both pretty bad in engines.
I suspect treasure trove will be between layers 2 and 3 but maybe wrong. EDIT: also forgot about Relic.
I go do thatYou can edit it into the O.P.Here it is: http://strawpoll.me/5860293Thanks! You should probably put this link in its own topic though.
If you really want a solid response rate, you probably want to make a new thread (possibly in more than one of the most active boards). There are probably plenty of people who have read some of the posts in this thread and already decided to ignore it.

But the main reason you bought coin of the realm is not to boost your economy so all this argument is moot. But early on it boosts economy and then it disappearsReally Early like when you have 3 estatesCoin boosts your early economy
Gonna disagree with this part. It's a Copper, which hurts your economy more than it helps.
I might not be correct but whatever
Even then, if economy is the thing you care about, you're better off buying nothing at all. The Copper on play should be thought of more as a penalty, not a bonus.
Only on a 5/2 opening (otherwise, you also should consider Silver instead) where your 5 buy doesn't help economy. Most of the time, the Copper is hurting your economy. You might buy it anyway because you want the +actions ready asap, buy the Copper on play is lowering money density, not boosting it.
Edit: actually, I take it back. It does increase coin density by a bit in 5/2 if the $5 is only, say, +$2. But the boost is kind of inconsequential, and calling it a boost is pretty misleading overall. I just think it would be more helpful to explain it as the penalty it is from the start. But you're right, it is technically a boost at the very start, in the same way that a normal Copper is.

platinum credit card
cost 4:
reveal 4 cards from top of your deck. Put all platinum cards into your hand and return rest of cards on top of deck in any order.
I don't propose gold and silver cards as they could be actually good.
