Fool + Band of Misfits/Overlord

Not a spectacular combo, but Fool is often a card you don't particularly want to buy or have in your deck - after all once you have Lost in the Woods, it does nothing. Using Band of Misfits or Overlord to play it, you'll never draw a Fool dead.

Are we really at a point in Dominion "discussion" where we can't talk about Copper, the most simple of Dominion cards without bringing up meaningless and obfuscating comparisons to other, totally unrelated, cards? Comparing Copper to Peddler in no way improves my understanding of Dominion.

Playing the card you draw with Vassal is optional, not forced. Vassal + Tactician seems fine.

It's also good etiquette to take a win when you see it, and not fool around unnecessarily. Presumably at some point you'd have won guaranteed.

Also I have no problem with resigning, and will do so, if I think I'm in a totally lost position. And I would certainly resign if my opponent fooled around for unnecessarily long after winning.

Try to play at a time when you're in a good mental state. Make sure you have eaten and slept well beforehand. Don't be too exhausted. Remain hydrated. Recent mild workout and fresh air is also nice. Try not to have other things in your life that will stress you during the game (or at least find a good way to ignore them).

Lurker + Bishop

Infinite Golden Deck on its own. It's not that strong, but if the board has any sufficiently expensive actions, especially relatively weaker ones that don't enable stronger strategies, it can easily be set up to generate 4 or 5 VP a turn. And it also seems like a pretty strong engine payload, since for example gaining and trashing 2 Princes a turn for 10 VP tokens with it seems pretty easy.

Just saw Slovakia-Russia in Lille. Entertaining game, no issues at all in the stadium other than a Russian fan lighting a flare. The Slovakian fans are apparently not prone to hooliganism, but still provided great atmosphere.  ;D

Entertaining game, the Slovakians played well. Can't say I'm too sad to see the Russians in trouble results-wise, considering some of their fans.

Just watched Belgium-Italy with a lot of Belgians at a sports bar. The greatest applause was when Lukaku got substituted off the field. Not much of a party to be had :(

There can be a case where the correct bid is basically infinite. Having a bid limit seems a lot more elegant than Player 1 bidding Graham's Number, and player 2 bidding Graham's Number +1.

Adventurer in an engine is incredibly hard to get to work. I think the best use of Adventurer is plain Adventurer-Big Money, which is a really weak strategy. But there exist boards where it's somehow competitive.

Playing a Throne Room on a Throne Room allows you to play 2 other actions twice. It does not allow you to play one action 4 times. 5 Throne Rooms and 1 Festival is not a very good hand, it only gets you 4$ and 3 buys.
