I think it's slightly more likely for scum to unvote for towncred there than town to unvote to avoid a lynch

--

you know, I trust your judgement more when you aren't pushing a mislynch

If you ask me, that's just one giant myth. When has that kind of L-1 unvote ever gained anyone any towncred?

Also, here's some reads:

Want to lynch: TA, silver
Wouldn't lynch: Voltaire, Hydrad, Eevee
Would lynch: everyone else

Mh. interesting stuff.

D1 lynches are random anyways.

Nevermind. Vote: Twistedarcher

does this really make him scummy? or is this  a policy vote?

vote: Jimmmmm for unvoting there.

It's scummy because it's avoiding responsibility for his actions.

On the other hand, how is unvoting scummy?

unvote

I have a bad feeling about TA, why do you have such a strong town read on me? I've just been weird trying-to-shake-the-rust-off, not town!MVP Voltaire.

Yes... I have a bad feeling as well, even before that post. Not really feeling Eevee anymore. Also, Hydrad is slightly townie. I think scum!Hydrad is probably too self-aware to put Eevee to L-1.

Vote Count 1.5

silverspawn (2): Awaclus, Eevee
Witherweaver (1): Joseph2302
faust (1): Ichimaru Gin
Eevee (3): faust, Jimmmmm, silverspawn
TwistedArcher (1): Witherweaver
Awaclus (3): Voltaire, Hydrad, TwistedArcher

With 11 alive it takes 6 to lynch. Day One ends at 9 pm forum time, Thursday June 11th.

Awaclus cancels fish: Interrupted by Carp.

My vote should be on silverspawn, not Eevee.

I think this might be one of those games where one of my most beloved combos might come into play: Spice Merchant - Beggar.

It has several things going for it:
- it's the only source of draw aside from Margrave.
- It works well with Plaza.
- minor point: Herbalist can ensure Spice Merchant always has a target.
- It doesn't work when possessed. That's probably the biggest thing. When you're possessed, the Coppers from Beggar never go into your hand, and the whole engine crumbles.

I love Spice Merchant+Beggar, but doesn't Margrave just do everything you'd want your Spice Merchant+Beggar to do for you?

Well, the fact that it counters Possession might make it worthwile in an engine mirror I think.

I don't think so - what kind of weird stuff did you do as town?

Since you're accusing me, one would think that you should be the one providing proof to your claims, but oh well.

RMM23: I actively pushed for a massclaim.
RMM21: Also advocating a partial mass claim.
M61: Well, I wasn't exactly town there, but I was telling the truth, and I wasn't exactly scum either.

...that's all I could get on short notice. What do you have?

Which is basically saying "scum!faust is capable of anything, and thus I am interpreting anything faust thus as scummy", which is bullshit.

vote: silverspawn

It's more like saying 'I think it's pretty likely for scum!faust to do something weird/special at the start of the game', which is what you did.

I agree I haven't done anything, but the game is still fairly new. Usually not the kind of argument that gets me into trouble.

And you're basing this on what? I think past games will show that I do special things as town more often than I do them as scum.

You know who's really not done anything for this game? silverspawn. His only post of content is this:

unvote

Do people thing scum announces intent not to vote someone town (faust to me, from his and my point of view you know the caveats here something privileged frame of reference). I go back and forth on this.

vote: Eevee

scum? no. faust? yes, absolutely. Doing it earned him scum points from my end.

Which is basically saying "scum!faust is capable of anything, and thus I am interpreting anything faust thus as scummy", which is bullshit.

Vote: silverspawn

C'mon Awaclus, are you being [...] difficult?

No.

If there's any subtle message contained in the ellipsis, I don't get it.

Well, I disagree, which is why I'm voting him at themoment.

It would be sorta nice if you could back that up. The fact that yo don't, weirdly enough, makes you more likely town.

Some commentary on the kingdom:

I think it a bit too "obvious". There's no way around the engine here, and any engine is going to look more or less the same. Bureaucrat as treasure gaining for Counterfeit is a neat idea, but I don't think it'll work out. First it will be very late when it's useful, as all your Coppers should already have gone. Second, the attack is pretty insignificant with Farming Village and Horse Traders around. Third, at best it gives you +4$ (gain a Silver, play it twice with Counterfeit) - that's also what Baron does, and there you get a much-wanted +buy as well. I also think there's too much draw - Rabble is completely outperformed by Journeyman, no need to have it in here. Mystic I doubt I'll ever get over the other payload.

Tl;dr: This board seems too focused on a single strategy. I don't know what your intention was designing this, but I think a key feature of well-designed kingdoms is that there are multiple viable strategies.

PS: You probably want to state whether the game has Shelters and/or Colonies.

In a standard solitaire game of Dominion, it's the beginning of your turn. You have no cards on any mats, no Durations in play, and no active Princes.  There are no Events on the board.

You have somehow reached the following state: none of the cards in your hand or deck cost more than zero, except for one King's Court and one Forge.

At the end of the same turn's Action phase, you play King's Court on Forge. Which of these sets could represent the three cards you gain as a result, and how?

Copper, Copper, Copper
Estate, Estate, Estate
Silver, Silver, Silver
Duchy, Duchy, Duchy
Gold, Gold, Gold
Province, Province, Province

All of these are pretty easy to get with lots of Highways in play? Even without Highway, my hand can simply be KC, Forge, Trusty Steed: play Trusty Steed for +2 actions +2cards, draw Moat, [whatever card I want to gain], play Moat, draw [whatever card I want to gain]x2, Play KC-Forge, trashing one card each time, and gaining the same card. Or am I misunderstanding something?

Honestly, I can never find faust scummy? faust hasn't even started tunneling me yet. My read on faust is a gut one.

Scum points to anyone who tries to bully me out of my read on faust based on bullshit like this.

Should I start tunneling you?

But I probably won't, I actually think scum!Ichi is less likely to vote for me.

And you know what? This whole "empty post" thing is pure bullshit. SO my first post was empty. Boo me. Look at other people's first posts:

first!
second!
fourth!
boo

what's changed since I last played

also probably can't post in detail until the weekend
Hey hey hey!
Vote: silverspawn, he's clearly scummiest person right now.
What happened in futuramafia?
You don't know what happened in futuramafia? Vote: eevee.
vote: faust for helping scum in Mafia 61
Well, let's end it then.

I will not vote for Voltaire today. Discuss.

Obv. scum partners.

Vote: Voltaire

My other posts were not empty. Repeating that statement doesn't make it true.

I agree that Faust's posts so far have lots of words but little content

Huh? And where are those posts that have a lot of content? What you're pointing out here could be said about virtually anybody in this game at this stage.

It's not only the lack of content (I agree that there hasn't been much content), it's that you've been actively posting but I've seen a decent amount of "empty" posts.

I'm just randomly picked though. You can vote people like WW for the same thing, look:

I'm confused. Is that just flavor, or does it mean something more?

It means  you better do some scumhunting, or the Grizzly Bear is gonna eat you.

I like vote: faust for now. On a gut level, he just doesn't feel like town!faust to me.

Does he ever feel like town!faust to you?

+1

I'm not saying I think Hydrad is town. I'm saying I don't think what's being pointed out makes him scummy.

Yes, I know. Maybe that's the problem.

And what's with all the people defending Hydrad? It's weird, and they're scummy.

Vote: Eevee I can't point my finger on it, but something about his posts makes me want to vote him.
