And then I just pile drive Provinces and Colonies before you can rebuild. :D

I have what might be a newbie question but I need to explain the turn first that led up to it, I was playing a 2-player game with my brother.

First I played a Throne Room, and a Cellar.  Then I took my two cellar actions -- the first one was an Embargo.  I chose the money option for the Embargo and took my two coppers into my hand, and then the other action was a Woodcutter.  (I was going to play my Thief but I couldn't since my brother's deck was empty.  Anyway I'm sure he had a secret chamber to block the attack.)  I used the Woodcutter buy to get a curse (which I put in my brother's discard pile) and then took a silver for the money part.  Back to the TR'd cellar, I discarded 3 cards and picked up 6.  Then for my buy phase I had 10 money in my hand so I discarded the treasures, bought a province, and remembered that I would have 2 extra money next turn.

When I discarded the rest of the cards I picked up my 5 card hand for next round.  One was a mining village which I was immediately able to trash for a silver, but then I had to discard one card to get down to 5.

Now it was my brother's turn.  He bought the last province and I wondered, does he get to finish his turn or does the game end immediately?

I should have also had trashing 2 treasure maps from hand without using an action...

Let him finish his turn.
And after that both of you should re-read the rules...

What does need fixing is, in my view, Scrying Pool.

Reveal Look at the top card of your deck and either discard it or put it back.
Then reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal one that is not an Action.
Put all of your revealed cards into your hand
Fixed that for you.

Spy and oracle get you to reveal the top card of your own deck so as not to make it wordy. But if it is only a self-spy, like Duchess, then you don't need to reveal, just look at.

BTW, I think Adventurer and Thief should be conbined.

Each other player reveals cards from his deck until he reveals 2 treasure cards. He trashes one of them that you choose and discards the rest. You may gain any or all of the trashed treasures.

No. Open Doctor/card that gives you +2 Buys, and trash your whole deck except for Doctor and +2 buys.
No that's too slow. I'll already have gotten alot of colonies when you have set up your 'engine'.
I'm not too slow-You're just too fast.
So I win.

suddenly squire is the best card in the game.
But do you really want to waste a turn buying a squire instead of a colony?

What do you think? Basically, you can choose a card to give to your opponent. So if you buy a Curse, you can choose whether to gain it, or your opponent gains it (probably your opponent). Likewise, if you buy a Province, you can choose to gain it, or let all opponents gain it (I'd say you'd gain it

Get it? So this will probably be used to give out curses, then when they run out, they give out coppers. (For scout-haters: this card is flexible enough to give Scouts to other players!)

I'm just afraid that it would be too overpowered with the +buy. Maybe I should give some other vanilla bonuses to the card, maybe +$2?

Feel free to say anything good or bad about this card ;)
