I'm just not a big fan of the new quests at all.  For me we've sort of reached the point where there are too many single-class quests that I can't reliably match up the quests I have with the three classes offered to me, or line it up to complete multiple quests at the same time.  I've found myself missing days of quests for basically the first time since beta, and I think the new quests have a lot to do with that.

"You will no longer be able to disenchant extra copies of cards that are not a part of your collection"

What's that mean?

Rockbiter Doomhammer nerf is hella overdue. Charge nerf is overdue and in line with so much other stuff they've done.

It's a bugfix.. there was some bug where the number of cards in your collection was being displayed improperly and led to people dusting stuff they didn't intend to, or something like that.

I'm at the point where I'm just not picking paladin anymore.  I've had a bunch of runs where I go 6-0 against non-rogues and 0-3 against rogues.. the matchup is awful vs any reasonable deck, and people seem to have figured out that they should just be picking rogue every single run.

I just built this and have been fooling around with it.. any suggestions?  (...other than the obvious one of "Don't play Reno Shaman")

The deck is fantastic.  You have a great curve, your high end cards are all very powerful, and you don't really have bad cards (other than the ironforge rifleman).  You also have several exceptional cards (Coghammer and Truesilver are top, top tier).  Certainly could be better, but the deck is very far above average.

I just played about a dozen games with the deck.  Reliquary seekers were okay.. I activated them quite a few times, but I sort of felt like those games were over.  It was nice against mage to be able to dump my hand and still have a minion live through flamestrike.  They also sat in my hand doing nothing quite a few times.

I still get the feeling that the deck has a few too many conditional cards.. I spent a bunch of games staring at a hand of sea giant, volcanic drake, mortal coil, and reliquary seeker or other hands like those.  I think 2 mortal coils is just too many.. They're fine if a bunch of trades are happening, but I think the deck is pretty well set up to deal with those situations already.  I think I'd rather have more cards to play.

That list looks pretty good.  It's super all-in on tokens and probably weak to the warrior whirlwind decks, but I'm not convinced there's a way to make that match-up any good.  Ravaging ghoul and Fiery War Axe are just so good against zoo.

Do you have problems finding plays on turn 1?  There are only 3 minions you actively want to play on turn 1 in that list.  In my latest zoo list, I have 1 flame imp, 2 villagers, 2 voidwalkers, and 2 argent squires.  I'd be worried about having to forbidden ritual or reliquary seeker turn 1 and just not having a powerful enough start to outpace a decent shaman start.  Maybe the explosiveness of Drake is enough to overcome that.. it's not a card I've played with at all.

I'm having a lot of fun. It's kind of weird.. Even though the deck seems like it's just "ramp and play big minions", there are tons of decisions about spending your mama every turn. Innervate is hard to use and still something I'm working on figuring out.

Y'shaarj is a little weird in that missing battlecries does suck, but you're still getting a 5/5 body or bigger most of the time. It's probably the best threat against warrior, and there are tons of warriors running around, many of which are the tempo deck that doesn't run brawl.  Sticking y,shaarj on any stable board all but wins the game.

You can probably swap in other stuff for the legendaries you don't have. Cards like nefarian, sylvanas, geddon and other big legends are all reasonable, as are stuff like second arakkoa or sunwalker. The threats are interchangeable.. It's the ramp that's the most important part to have.

I've been having lots of success with Dog's druid list.  It looks (and is) about the greediest deck possible, but I've done reasonably well in every matchup other than miracle.. and that may just be me not playing well, I'm not sure.

http://imgur.com/SGAXetW ,   plus a Ysera, Y'shaarj, and Yogg-Saron that didn't fit into the picture.

This expansion has been spectacular for me.  I've had more fun playing standard in the past few days than I've had in a long time.

Is that soulpriest a 3/2?  I can't really make it out.  I have a solution if it has 3+ health, but haven't found one if it's a 3/2.

I've been having the most insane games lately.  I just played against a priest who played three museum curators early, and hit 2x Sylvanas and Sneed's Old Shredder off them.  I would have won the game, except an early Fel Reaver left me out of cards in deck before him.

The previous game I beat a turn 8 Kel'Thuzad into a turn 9 Arch Thief Rafaam.  I also had a game where I cast 2 Nefarians and my opponent cast one.  My arena runs lately have been littered with legendaries and absurd plays.. makes me wish that I had a way to go back and re-access the games.

Also, there's a druid card, Wild Growth, that gives an empty mana crystal. I don't get it. What does that do?

If I cast wild growth on turn 2, I gain a mana crystal.  I can't use it turn 2, but my next turn, I'll have 4 mana.

thanks for the tips

I'm still working on unlocking the different classes, so I haven't played any pvp yet.

It's very possible to start playing ranked straight away, with the basic decks if you have to.  The ladder is set up so that you're almost guaranteed to play other new players at first, and you gain experience for playing cards whether you win or lose.

Nowadays when I had friends of mine introduced to Hearthstone, I noticed a considerable amount of beginner players having good cards already like Knife Juggler, Implosion and Naxxramas cards, even on the lowest rank! You'd have to play exceptionally well to be able to deal with that card quality using only basic cards. But maybe this trend is only on the European server, or it was a bad coincidence.

The other day I was bored and played a game on Europe (not my server) with a basic deck, and at rank 25 my opponent played coin turn 5 golden Emperor turn 6 golden Dr. Boom.

What would you do here? http://imgur.com/R4eGg7b

With no other information I'd just trade the 4/3 with the drake and hit face. Is there another play I should be considering?
Well, hitting the drake with your face then trading the questing adventuring is better value. Whether it's wise to go to 10 health here, I don't know. You have enough guys out to clear things from the board, but if he has Death's Bite and a charger, he will kill you before you kill him. I'd risk going to 10 life since he needs two cards to kill you from there, but I'm no expert. :P

One card is arcanite reaper.

You're really far ahead, I think I would play around reaper and kill the drake with the 4/3.

But a lot of my wins were drawing well, so I guess I can't complain.  I had a zap-o-matic in my opening hand way more than I should have considering I only had 2 of them.

I've done turn 1 zap, turn 2 flametongue, turn 3 rockbiters for lethal.

I ended up 11-3... but two of the games I lost I felt like I got very unlucky.  Against a paladin he got to turn 4 BGH my 7/6 Fireguard destroyer, and he played Holy Light, Tirion, and Lay on Hands and still ended the game on like 5 health.

Against a hunter at 11-2 his Piloted Shredder dropped annoy-o-tron.  :(  Fel Reaver doesn't match up well against annoy-o-tron.

I just got a controller to hook up for use on my PC for rocket league... wow, it's a world of difference from using a keyboard.  Doing anything in the air was so challenging on a keyboard since the move forward / lean forward keys are the same, separating them on a controller so you don't start all your jumps by frontflipping has made flying do-able.  Still hard, but not impossible like it felt on the keyboard.

I'm just going to say it: I think the iPhone implementation is great.

What kind of iPhone do you have?  I have a 4s, and it doesn't work well at all on mine.

Mine (I think) were:

Me : TA

Warrior > Warrior
Mage > Warrior
Hunter < Warrior
Hunter < Hunter
Hunter > Shaman

vs HME was:
warlock < warrior
paladin < mage
paladin < hunter

vs Pops was:

hunter < Warrior
Warrior > Priest
mage < priest
mage > paladin
hunter > paladin

I'm not 100% sure about the match vs pops.  I know that the order of wins and my classes were right, but his might be off.

I definitely wouldn't play my hunter deck again.  I ended up going 3-3 with it, and all of the losses were not at all close and all of the wins I barely got and I felt like I drew well above average.  I was very happy with my warrior deck, and my mage deck was okay.
