Name a card that's a few expansions old that is better now than when it came out. That means that the card itself has improved because it is good on more boards (thanks to the new expansions), not that the community has gotten better at playing the card. Then, argue that the other people are wrong.

EXAMPLES:
Counting House (this one's easy; there's two game-winning combos with Counting House where there used to be zero.)
Band of Misfits (not sure why but def. true -- broadly: more good 4s, more cards favoring tactical decisions / flexibility)

Spices are:
- cheaper
- give a + buy
- give two coffers.

On payoff alone, you'd only prefer Gold to Spices if you expected to draw the Gold at least 3 times in a situation where you actually were going to use the extra money.

Treasurer can pull Haunted Mirror out of the trash, allowing you to gain the multiple Ghosts you have always deserved.

I see the point. If you interpret it that way, then you could have some really weird situations.
Play BoM as Gladiator, reveal unique card, trash the top Gladiator of the pile. But wait, BoM is that card! Do I trash BoM?

Have we resolved this one? It doesn't seem outlandish to me.

My guess would have been that I get to choose if the Ghost Town goes in my hand or on my deck, but the online implementation (w/ the wiki confirming) says it goes on my deck. Is there a link to this ruling?

bought a cursed village after having put my cube on innovation. I get to choose the order of receiving a Hex and play Cursed Village. Didn't really care so chose to get the Hex first. Oops:


e buys and gains a Cursed Village.
  e takes Bad Omens.
  e receives Bad Omens
  e moves their deck to the discard.
  Innovation loses track of Cursed Village (it was covered up).
  e looks at a Cursed Village, 2 Estates, 3 Coppers and a Silver.
  e topdecks 2 Coppers.
  e discards Bad Omens.

My opponent just called a Teacher to move the +1 Token to a pile that the Estate token was on. Is this how the rules work? #18169166 on oregon

EDIT: I get it now. "Move your estate token to it" means to the set-aside card, not the pile, so another token can go on the pile. In other news, I lost.

Knights are fine. I agree that Anna is dominant, and yes, occasionally Anna's on top and your opponent splits 5/2, but there are so many other situations like this in Dominion. In any other situation, when you buy a knight, ask yourself: is this worth the risk of uncovering Anna? If the answer is no, don't buy the knight.

Minion used to be super annoying on BSW (anyone remember that client?) when the only sets were base and a few cards from each of the others, because it was so dominant. Too many alternatives now.

My vote goes to Margrave. Both players have to get a million of them, and then it just slows the game to a crawl.

You could maybe nerf Sauna/Avanto by having Avanto draw one fewer card and cost 4. In fact it would probably be fine still costing 5.

my opponent's Vampire gave Locusts, which hit my Vampire, which disappeared into nothingness, as there were no cheaper Night cards on the board

I just tried to summon a death cart for a burst of five coin goodness and was disappointed to learn of this ruling. I get the logic with the current way the Lose Track rule is worded, but ugh. I'd like an appeals committee or something, here.

My motivation for posting this post was a game where I bought one purely to help make magic lamp go off (a bad draw, good trashing type situation), and was delighted to have three wishes on top of my deck.

I buy tracker all the time because the combination of the boon and topdecking usually makes the buy worth it. I agree that topdecking with an action card is way more useful than with a treasure card, though. Would not propose that Royal Seal is good, just underrated. I'm moving it from "cards you just always ignore" to roughly Contraband levels of pay attention.
