Why is it my turn?
Goko leaked something, that is where the worry would come from. Jay was displeased. But obv. it's good to have the set come out online the same day. And it's hard to say just what the effect of a leak is, especially a late leak like this would presumably be.Goko leaked something?
I always feel amazing when I figure out some new (for me) math thing on my own... I just realized that the derivative of the volume of a sphere is the surface area of the sphere... I have no idea of the implications, but it's still really cool. That's true?
Silver=Curse -- There is a running joke that silver is basically as bad as a curse. It probably began in earnest when SCSN suggested that embassy had an on-gain attack, and is used to varying degrees of seriousness throughout the forum.I thought it was Gold = Curse
Yeah, I wish it had shelters too.you could play 10 goons on that kingdomNot realistically, but yes. You could play 20, even.
I told you it was an easy puzzle.
I was expecting Tactician + Necropolis.
Disappointed.

I really do think there should be a "Best Argument in a Mafia Game" category. You could say this is covered under best in-game moment, but I'd be happy to see this as its own category. Throwing some more ideas out there:
Forager, Masquerade, Advisor, Procession, Remake, Explorer, Rabble, Tactician, Adventurer, Goons
It's not junking if you don't mind rats!Stef, why don't you like rats? Processing a rats is better than processing a fortress if you have a fortress in hand because you draw an extra card. The risk with rats is that you draw several without a fortress, however if you're careful I think that can be avoided. Perhaps it would be wise to wait until the third shuffle to get one, but I'm not so sure. The thinning is very nice as well. It also makes an early bishop more reasonable.
I still haven't played this kingdom though...
Processing a Fortress is better than Processing a Rats because it doesn't junk your deck.
I don't know if love's 12th turn was the right decision:No, that's a colony/platinum hand!
love plays Tactician
love discards: Fool's Gold, Haggler, Fool's Gold, Fool's Gold
love happens to get a Colony with the following Tactician's turn but at the expense of turning down a Platinum/Province + Gold/$5 action card in the current turn.
Only in your timezone, here it's still November. This thread. Has been necro'd twice. And all the posts have been in November.Except thesetwo.three.

This sounds like a simulation competition to me.That's one complicated strategy. You can handle the first 6 turns, but after that it's way too complex. It can certainly done, it just would take a lot of effort to program.
So, Ela and me played this board twice.Oh. Heh. So, when I said:
First, watch me fail horribly:
Fail
Then, it gets better:
Success
So, this probably wasn't the best play ever, so spam your suggestions
Get a single talisman and rats (not sure which one to get first, probably talisman). Then get procession, then fortress, probably in that order. What I meant was:
nope, no cards.Oooooor do Bishop-Rats into Bishop-Fortress. Infini-points.You lose when the procession player gets bishops and catches up in points.
Anyone want to play this kingdom?
Sure, if you have the cards.
