Oh, it gets us "honest reads." Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe scum just play it up. For example, reggie knew the whole time it wasn't the hammer. I mean, how easy is it to come up with some fake twilight reads or whatever that can influence the game. Ok, maybe not that easy, but still.
Maybe I just irrationally don't like fake hammering.
I agree that doing it is not a good idea. I also don't think it's the sort of thing that a scum player does.
An lynching an anti-town player D1 isn't the worst decision.
