I teach the game a lot.

A full 80% of the time, someone who is being taught will insist on calling it "Douche-y" instead of Duchy.

I think that one of my biggest troubles is figuring out when to buy the card that gives +buy but that is otherwise less desirable.  When do I take a woodcutter whilst in a highway race, especially if I am almost always drawing $5?

Many people have gushed over your game(s?) and I'm sure have been appreciative of the hard work that you have accomplished (and continue to accomplish?) by creating them.

But I must note that I really, really enjoy your personal (non-professional) contributions to humanity as well.  For example, EVERY TIME that that whole saga is brought up, you chime in with your disclaimer about the fishiness of that situation.  It really, really puts a smile on my face.  Thus effectively increasing the amount of smiles that have been smiled by the human race ever.  Grats, man -- you rock.

I wonder if they can create a super bot by giving it some sort of AI that takes data from every game it loses and applies it to all future games. Sort of like using Council Room data, I guess, but looking at buys per turn and what not. Over time, I would imagine such a bot can become super powerful and would almost always make the right plays.

It appears SkyNet began as Dominon AI!

Hi, I'm () | (_) ^/.

Some of you know me from before when I was paddyodoors.  Now I'm back (still paddyodoors on isotropic).  You can find my old intro thread here.

Also I love humor, especially dry humor like sarcasm and puns.

My new username is actually 1337 speak for an old username that I had created by just hitting a sequence of letters on QWERTY keyboard.  It IS pronounceable once you get the hang of it, as I am sure do many of you!
