+1 Card/Action/Buy on a 2 cost seems a bit too much. Other than that, I like the idea. Like Footnote said though, you should probably still gain a curse.

With the interpretation of heron I can get to 15 (hard mode). The first part is thanks to Jimmmmm, see here.


Use shelters. Kingdom must contain squire, watchtower, remake, cultist, haggler, border village

Open Watchtower (WT)/Remake

Turn 3:
Draw Necropolis, Remake, Hovel, Overgrown Estate, Watchtower.
Play Necropolis
Play Remake...
....Trash Overgrown Estate, draw copper, gain Squire, reveal WT, trash Squire, gain Cultist
....Trash Hovel, gain Squire, reveal WT, trash Squire, gain Cultist
Play Watchtower, draw 5 copper
Play 6 copper, buy border village (BV), gain haggler.

Turn 4:
Draw copper - (reshuffle) - remake, cultist, cultist, BV
play BV, draw watchtower
play remake...
...Trash cultist, draw copper;copper;haggler, gain BV, reveal WT, topdeck BV, gain haggler, reveal WT, topdeck haggler

Probably it can be improved at least a little bit to also reach colony (for 19 points in non-hard mode), and I can even imagine getting another haggler (or goons) for even higher score.


Someone always comes up with something more elaborate than I can think of. My hard-mode was:

Open Chancellor/Silver
Play Chancellor, discarding deck. Buy Hunting Grounds
Play Chancellor, buy Farmland, trashing Hunting Grounds.
Farmland(2)+Province(6)+Duchy(3)=11

Alright, I think I understand it and don't really see where the confusion is coming from.
You have four turns. How many points can you gain solely from your last buy?
Ex: Silver/Coppersmith/Silver/Province. You got 6 Points, hard mode.

Hardmode: No Colony/Platinum

Try to get the most points you can with one buy. I got 11 in Hardmode.

Without Chancellor?  What about Scavenger? ;)
No scavenger either. In fact, I did it without any DA cards. I assume Sage could easily improve my score.

A bit late to the party, as I only got DA a few days ago. Just wanted to say trash. Lots and lots and lots of it. I believe my first game with all DA cards had over 200 cards in the trash.

We both went for the same strategy here, the exception being my opponent's Envoys. Without buying a single treasure and only 2 coin generating actions, I managed 5 Provinces in 10 turns. I'm curious, is this something that could be easily replicated by playing this board again, or was it just insane shuffle luck?

That no matter how many Throne Rooms and cantrips together, your hand will not exceed 5 cards.

I LOVE this combo. I find that 4 Warehouses and 1-2 Jacks is the best. Sometimes, I never even buy treasure.

The simulator disagrees with you.

With nothing else involved 4 warehouses loses to double jack. (Where you buy warehouses instead of silvers after the first 2)
