GGG hands you a Victory Prima Pils ;)

(A delicious, high-rated, hoppy pilsner for those who don't know.)

Lighthouse stands out as way too low. Can't wait to see the rest of the list!

No but I think it would be a lot of fun. I just wish I were better at Dominion :P anyone near/going to be near Pennsylvania? Also, I will be studying abroad this fall in France, and hopefully travelling around Europe too.

Where in PA? It's a pretty big state. I visit western PA very occasionally.
I go to school in western PA, and live in central PA.  I go to school at Grove City College, which is about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh

Hah, no way. Out of all the schools in PA. I'm a GCC alumnus ('11) and I guess I'll see you at homecoming for my round two of random Dominion meetups!

Dominion General Discussion / Playing with people on this forum IRL
« on: July 13, 2013, 07:16:27 pm »
I haven't posted much lately, but just wanted to mention that this post (and the following post) in the Christianity thread caused two strangers to meet up IRL to play a game of Dominion! It was fun meeting and playing with him, although our paths probably won't cross again except on Goko (we're probably almost 1500 miles away from each other... it just so happened he was coming out my way). Any similar stories of meeting up with an online Dominion player to play IRL (that you didn't know previously)?

I can't edit my old location, I just moved. My old location is Harrisville, PA. Can someone delete that for me? I made a new one for my new address already. Anyone around Madison, WI let me know and we can play some Dominion!

Adventure Time is next for me, but Regular Show first. :) I've seen just one episode of Adventure Time and it was good enough to make me want to try more.

I was flipping channels last week and came across a hilarious cartoon called Regular Show. I'm going through the episodes in order now, and I'm up to season 3. Anyone watch it, and have a favorite character? Mine is Skips.

So, while we wait patiently for the last part, what's everyone's order for the remaining cards?

10 in the supply + 1 randomizer = 11 Doctors. Donald X. is a Doctor Who fan. :o

Dominion General Discussion / Re: Yep, Guilds just leaked!

I clicked through, but only because I thought you would have the dedication to prankery to actually write up some fake cards. (Which someone on BGG did.)

Oh gosh, no way. Making the APRIL FOOLS acronym with the sentences (and have them actually flow well together) was effort enough.

Just ran a mirror match simulation (same code for each) and it wins 73% of the time. It's even better than I thought!

Ah yes, the mighty I(G^3)M strategy. Can someone run a simulation to see the optimal number of Golds to get?

So anyway, before you click the link, see what the first letter of each sentence in this paragraph spells. http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Guilds

I clicked the link before reading your last sentence, so when I went back to it (after carefully checking the edit history of the wiki article) I had already figured out what it would say. Nice one, you had me!

I knew (or at least was hoping) someone would do that! Haha.

Apparently someone just leaked all the Guilds cards... on our wiki! :o Probably not how DXV wanted it to go down, but I'm not complaining! :) Really excited about all the cards after reading them! I'm not sure how the Guild-type cards work though. Like, do they stay out the whole game? Feels like a very BM-friendly set, with the whole coin token theme. On the other hand, certain engines should fare pretty well. Oh boy, the more I look at it, the more excited I'm getting. Love what I'm seeing! Goko Dominion Online / Re: Am I a bad person?
« on: March 27, 2013, 10:52:45 am »
My diversion for the day has been to host unranked games and pin unsuspecting Goko players with the KC/KC/Mon/Goons/Masq combo.

Does the fact that I've found peoples' reactions amusing mean I should go re-think life?

I'm telling myself it's my own little way of improving the community by getting people to do more 'professional' games, but really I just like the giggles.

This thread needs a bump, and I'm in just the... Condition... To do so!

Just had a completely awesome sour by Russian River  called Supplication. Sours won't be for everyone, and they're very seasonal... But if you like them, damn are they good. This one only ran ~8% ("only" - ha!), but boy did it leave you puckered by the end! Sweet undertones, it reminded me of an old style PROPER apple cider. Absolutely delicious.

2 of those down before the barrel ran out (it was popular!), and on to Pliney the Elder (also brewed by RR), and I'm doin' just fine. Gonna be a gooood night. :)

I'm jelly.

I like sours, and have been to Jolly Pumpkin in Ann Arbor. I so want to visit Russian River if I get the chance!

Just jumped to Level 28, my highest level yet! Nice to be in the top 500 too.

Is there a running list of the Top 50/100 or so and whether they've made the switch?  I mean, WW has a lot of sway in the Dominion world (like Stef, Marin, Geronimoo, theory, etc., just to name a few off the top of my head) as far as Dominion celebs go, so it may be nice to see which celebrities have endorsed Goko and which haven't.

That would be interesting. If you want a running list of the Middle 50/100 or so, you can start with me ::)

That's not all. I have pears too (Asian pears at that, and I love Asian pears), and those are free. Not just pears, too - clementines, kiwifruits, and cantaloupe, which are among my favorite fruits. Why pay for crappy apples when I have those?

I eat other fruit too, but there's something intrinsically awesome about the apple, and I crave apples enough that I don't mind that I've tasted better apples before.

25
I like apples, I can afford them, I don't buy them if they have worms.

Haha. IMO they're no Grand Market Gala apples, but they're not worm-infested, either. Maybe they were at first but not anymore.
