I had a 158 step undo that I didn't -choose- to refuse because I assumed it was not actually a 158 step undo and was start of turn or something.  It was actually just fishing to replay a lost game, which I didn't win the second time.

I think a reasonable way to implement the feature would be Alice requesting an undo any time during her turn 15 cannot reach a point earlier than the start of her turn 14.  I can't imagine any time anyone would want to rewind a game together beyond that, even when they're feeling chill about revealed info.

I've been in gaming communities where people would do this even though the software actually made it take slightly longer.  So I wouldn't rule out the irrational angles.

I think Hades is overrated (but Hades being overrated doesn't preclude it from being worth its purchase price at this level of acclaim)

In battlegrounds, just realized by doing it that rafaam can obtain copies of unique hero units like fish of nzoth.  It feels so wrong

I knew this question sounded familiar... an old rules thread about it:

Eh heh that's a good one.

a project is once per game, which is a different design but neither worse nor better.  Maybe nonstrictly better.  As a project it doesn't seem too crazy for it to cost 0$ and be a question of when rather than if.

You can make a Project usable multiple times per game by having it remove the cube when it's done.
Ah, that's cool

Er, that doesn't interact with gainers so much as it interacts with nonterminal virtual $ -> gainers or Storyteller -> gainers.  Because being offered an opportunity to pay doesn't implicitly let you play treasures.

Yeah, this is an event.  I think it can possibly be 1$ and is pretty cool.

12
eh I think Awaclus caught me skimming, the average power level is high but there's not actually an actual strategy

There's no +card, I didn't pay enough attention to components.

I think it probably is Rebuild BM even with the estate handicap then

13
the combo between mod3 and mod5 is very synergistic for the mafias

14
I think it's an interesting kingdom because you don't buy Rebuild here.

Having Estates instead of Shelters is a huge deal, and I usually view the reason to go for rebuild even though you have to buy the estates yourself to be because the kingdom is bad.  This kingdom has some good cards so I don't think this is that case

This is unbelievable
The entirety of the 3 card pool MiX narrowed d1 onto with bullish confidence has been confirmed to be town (excepting the outside chance of a chairs fakeclaim, which is unlikely because his role is confirmable, any genuine vigilantes/IronMen should NOT claim -or- kill and chairs should be forced to perform his vig action night to confirm himself town).
In spite of this, no one is voting MiX
Even MiX is acknowledging MiX is the most sensible exile.  Shockingly the threshhold for what it takes for people to want to exile MiX is so high that the point where MiX thinks MiX deserves to be exiled is under it.

Vote: MiX

I kind of prefer chairs to galzria as a guttake but I have no interest in touching Dylan this phase

Dominion General Discussion / Re: Livery + Hypothetical Cost-Increaser
« on: August 06, 2020, 08:53:48 am »
My idea:
"When you gain a card that costs 4$ or more, gain a Horse that costs less than the card you gained."

Then what you do is, you change the Horsepile, make it 29 Lab Horses and a 30th Horse, that still has the name "Horse", but its cost is 5$ and it says "If you would gain this card, instead gain a card that costs less (or instead gain a silver or instead gain a Duchy however you want to do this vision of a minigame for City Stacking the Horse pile).  So then it doesn't feel like the wording on Livery is pointless when it's separated from cost increaserss, usually it's for that fat horse, and the fat horse is clearly there because failing to gain a Horse feels bad, so we fixed that.

Obviously this has some creative liberty here it's not an unintentional design that the current state is, "if the Horse pile is empty, well that's that then isn't it you won't gain a horse"

Chairs is acting scummy, enjoying arguments that are easier to play with as scum

Also Isis.

Here's a separate question. How come Galz and Isis were willing to exile MiX the first time he was at X-1 but not the second? Reverse question for Chairs.
I don't remember but I feel I have a pretty easy guess that the reason is that my appreciation for mobile wagons and creating readable whimsical shifts was a large enough "tiebreak" against whoever I was voting for

That said I didn't know and/or forgot that MiX hardclaimed VT and am a big fan of mechanically correct play so Vote: MiX

I think it's quite a bit more likely to flip red than chairs but if you disagree digame todo

Is it bad if I feel like I'm doing to Isis the same I was doing to joth, but I still feel just as confident?

When has she...done something this game?
This is a criticism without linkage to my alignment.

No one ever wants to vote MiX he's just invincible if there's not vigs.
Vote: Galzria
