Some more copies of the update packs are being printed. I don't have dates or anything more there. The update packs are just the new cards. The intention is not to keep them in print, as in the long run, everyone should have them who wanted them, and people buying the new editions don't need them.

Someone on Reddit highlighted that the German version of Dominion: Empires is being reprinted labelled as a second edition – and it comes without metal VP coins, instead having cardboard chits. https://www.amazon.de/Rio-Grande-Games-22501422-Erweiterung-Empires/dp/B096BNW84H#immersive-view_1629887704237

Is this change coming for  all the future reprints of Empires  in the English language too? If so, are the other expansions going to receive the same treatment?

Just so I understand, do Intrigue, Seaside and Prosperity have three printed versions then? 1st Edition, 2nd Edition, and a 2nd Edition (Revised). Do you have any visual examples of a card that has changed across all three?

I know Treasury in the Seaside 2nd Edition was misprinted with its horizontal dividing line missing and that has now been fixed, but were there several other cards too?

In the UK, the best solution I could find was the Really Useful 11L XL Box with the Large Tray 16. Room for your cards to stand up, sleeved with printed dividers and all the manuals laying on top. I only have Base, Intrigue, Seaside, Prosperity and Dark Ages currently in there, but there should be room for at least two more expansions and possibly more. I have the cards a bit more spread out currently.

Played with Island today and that is kind of neat too. I like the idea of keeping things tucked safely out of the way, whilst you go about doing the rest of your business.

Dominion General Discussion / Cards with the Best Flavour

One of the things I have learned to love to appreciate in card games like Magic: The Gathering and now Dominion is cards that have perfect flavour, where their name and text just fits perfectly.

My favourite so far, having only explored a few expansions, would be Royal Seal. You wouldn't necessarily think the card screamed flavor from just looking at it, but the satisfying feeling of sealing the top of your deck with the newly bought perfect card is very satisfying.

What are your favourite cards from a flavour perspective? There's a few other obvious ones like Wishing Well, but perhaps there are others that aren't so obvious straight away.

Just getting into Dominion in recent months and not necessarily familiar with all the cards in recent sets, but this thread looked fun.

This may be considered a bit dull, but I do like Mining Village as a design of a card. Trashing this has the same value in that you can gain a card costing 2, but you don't need a +1 Buy and so lose any flexibility.
