These links are pretty mainstream, people might have read them both already. But people who want to win need to read (1), and people who want to tell other people how to play games should probably read (2).

It should probably also mention Lurker - not for the trashing effect - but the other one that says "hey did you just trash an expensive action to get something better? would you like to have it back, basically for free?"

Actually, neither the Trashing page neither the Lurker page on the dominion wiki mentions the other further than the sentiment that Lurker trashes. It overlooks the complexity that with Lurker in play, the trash pile is also a shared value store for both players. I might add a vague note about that.

I liked seeing the log too. As someone who only ever bothered with the matchmaking rather than creating new tables, that's apparently where the thing is to load old games:

Not having the log has kind of broken my post-game reflection via the Win Dominion thing ( http://windominion.com/ ) which I liked, but then, that only exists because there hasn't been a solid in-game way of reviewing what happened. If that gets addressed in some way, we're good.

Bots also compete hard for Sauna, but then don't bother getting a single Avanto. I've also seen them trash multiple colonies or provinces in the same turn with Chapel or Remake - typically when I'm building engine / alt VP and the bot is starting to slow down from the green. It'll also buy Embargo, but the only thing I've actually seen it embargo is the curse pile.

I just played Envoy, picked up Copper x4 and a Tunnel, and the bot *chose* to discard my Tunnel.

This might say more about Grand Market + Advance than it does for Cultist. Grand Market + Advance is strong enough to go Rats, or even open Chapel / Chapel.
