How are the new cards when sleeved with thick sleeves (like Mayday Premium ones)? Are they identifiable when mixed with other sleeved cards from the previous expansions?

Dominion General Discussion / Re: The Dominion Cards Lists 2014 Edition

I hope this doesn't count as necro but shouldn't this topic be the one stickied instead of the outdated 2013 one?

Thanks for all the suggestions! Dark Ages sounds fun, but I guess I will go with the recommendation leaving it for last. I have yet to acquire Intrigue and Seaside (out of stock in our local stores) so those are still down the line.

I guess I'll go with Hinterlands first since it would give me the most cards.

If you like the complexity of Alchemy and Guilds, go for Dark Ages.

If you're looking for some more simple cards (on paper), go for Hinterlands.

Cornucopia is my favorite expansion, and it's always a good choice.

That being said, you are saying Hinterlands should be a good set for decent starting players (not complete newbies)? Why Cornucopia by the way? Given that, I might stay away from Dark Ages for now since we already have two complex sets. Thanks for your input!

I already have Dominion, Prosperity, Alchemy, and Guilds. Due to circumstances, I can only buy one expansion among Hinterlands, Cornucopia, or Dark Ages. So what set would you recommend I get next to make for interesting interactions with the current cards I have?

Dominion FAQ / Re: King's Court + Mountebank

Thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure how gaining the card going to the discard pile went over my head but that's clear now.

Dominion FAQ / King's Court + Mountebank

Sorry if this has already been an answered question but I can't seem to find an answer for it.

How do you resolve this combination? Assuming the opponent does not have a Curse in his hand currently, does he get 3 Curses and 3 Copper, or do you resolve each instance of Mountebank separately giving the opponent a chance to discard a Curse on the second instance, ending up with 1 Curse and 2 Copper (+1 Curse +1 Copper, -1 Curse, +1 Curse +1 Copper).
