The one scummy thing MiX has done was backing off of Robz. I was going to post all the examples of Robz trying to control the game,  but I don't want to be obnoxious. I can if people want to see it. But his defense didn't address MiX's observations. So was MiX intimidated? Was it a faked argument?

I think it's possible Robz is town and controlling things. It's not the good old Robz we know, but he definitely has the skills to do that. I also think that D1, and Isis' style in general, aligns a lot with her being scum. She's not really doing much? Yet says she is. I think that's precisely what she would do here as scum. The VCA also points to that, as Swowl pointed out.

I'd love to see a rundown of Robz's posts, but first I'd lije others to chip in about this.
He does have the skills, but he usually uses them as scum.

Here's a separate question. How come Galz and Iis were willing to exile MiX the first time he was at X-1 but not the second? Reverse question for Chairs.

Breadcrumbing on purpose is not something Didds would do, is the main point. Another one is that even if she did crumb, scum could've not seen it, and NKd her for some other reason. And then if you can determine that scum did see the crumb, it's almost impossible to determine who could've seen it: everyone can theoretically have, right?

I don't think most people would do that because you don't know how likely scum is to be good at catching that kind of thing. Even if they would, I also don't want to speculate on who in the game is good at word games in English and who isn't. Didds was towny but less likely to be protected (as it turned out, unable to be protected), which would make her a good nk choice.

Robz's defense was good, and I want Isis first.

I'll say more about this tomorrow. Isis was a good Day 1 lynch. What elevates her to being a good Day 2 lynch?

Keeping my suspicions to myself is just making me too quiet, so I'll share.  And likely regret it. But I completely agree with MiX's observations about Robz. These were the thoughts I wasn't mentioning.  Why did you back down so quickly, MiX?

Vote: Robz

I will also mention a different possibility other than Robz being scum, which is that he is still riding high after his successful scumreading in the last game.

Vote: Robz

I can't remember a time where he hasn't been trying to control the thread. Between his case on Swowl, defense of joth and now voting Space, it seems Robz is on top of everything that is happening, and always comes out of it better than he should.

Who's been talking about him anyway?

This also works really well in a scum!chairs world, as Robz also defended him a bunch.

I wondered about the crumb thing, too.  It's true that whether she did or not doesn't help catch scum, but it's natural to be curious.

What does seem strange to me is Space's defense of her comment. Why go on about the relative strengths of f.ds players in English? Didds wouldn't have known how skilled scum were at reading in English. If we found a breadcrumb, would there be any inferences to make based on knowing who has a different first language?

Unlike MiX, I'll go ahead and hammer.

Let's not do this end of day crap again, ok?
Why did you let it go so long?

MiX, why are you always saying things about someone's alignment as if your reads are always 100% correct, although you were proven wrong a number of times?

Because I'm been correct and dismissed my own correct reads many more times.

yeah, but you work alone, you never work with town. You say things to discourage people for voting for other people without any argument whatsoever.

This back-and-forth was incredibly townie from LaLight.

As the night has gone on Iíve kept coming back to this in my head. Itís great to have your own individual reads, but sitting here repeating them over and over, while refusing to look/consider any other options does nothing useful for town - even if youíre 100% correct.

Town is coming from a position of a lack of knowledge. They have to figure things out. Together. As a team. Having one person on the team that refuses to cooperate or work together makes the entire project harder for everyone else.

I donít think this point makes MiX any more likely to be scum, but I do think itís a valuable lesson for being Town effectively. And I think LaLightís making it is extremely townie.

This post is ringing scumbells for me.

Isis isn't even trying to play the game.
Alright, that was hyperbole.  But a spoiler wall post completely off topic? Seriously?

I can't remember who observed that it's impossible to lynch MiX, but they were apparently correct.

I wouldnít have unvoted if MiX didnít feel genuine to me in that exchange. I feel like I pushed him decently hard.
I was developing a hard scumread on you until you unvoted.

joth's summary of MiX's stances toward chairs shows the exact mix (haha) of attitudes he is showing now. I was reading MiX as very towny. Until he voted chairs to please joth, his biggest scum read. This chairs wagon feels very scummy to me and I won't be joining it.  I'm thinking the chairs voters are my X-pool.

There is a scummy side to fluff posting. It's easy to do and making up posts with substance is hard as scum. It also breaks up discussions, making town efforts less effective. Last, it demonstrates a disengagement from town goals, which is very much a scum trait.

Reposting this because it seems like it's been missed by a few people.

Joth, why are you voting Swowl?  Why not vote me instead?

Yeah, good question!

Swowl and joth both feel towny to me. @MiX, why aren't you jumping about like usual?

I caught scum. It's joth/pops/chairs. The game's over.

Why do I need to jump?

It has seemed to me that that is how you scumhunt. Thinking you found the scum team Day 1 is kind of farfetched, don't you think?

Thanks for the birthday wishes - to be clear, yesterday was the "observed" version, like when you get July 5th off, if the 4th falls on a Sunday.

For some actual content, trying to figure out a vote... I do see merit in Mix's and Didds' lists. I'm also wondering if one of Galz or Robb could be though these kinds of back and forth often tend to end up town v town. Doesn't make them any less fun to watch).

I also consider anyone who didn't send me birthday wishes scummy.

Nah, doing what "everyone" else is doing is a scummy. If I could have been the first ...
