I'd play.

EFHW, if we had mass claimed Day 2 what would you have claimed?

Probably role blocker. It wouldn't have been a lot of protection given the lack of flips, but it would complicate things a bit, might give me an extra day.

Cop would have been pretty hard to claim, given the clearing you would have had to do for people.

Yeah, don't want to create IC's. But Day 2 I couldn't have anyway. Jimmmmm's was the only safe PR to claim.

Eddie was right all along - I WAS a body snatcher!

It was interesting how the protections I had were also very dangerous to me. I would have preferred to spend a lot longer looking for mafia, that's for sure.

7
That was a nearly perfect town game, which you don't see often.

Who was the cop? Who was the roleblocker?

Math was cop, Jimmmmm was RB.

8
Great game, thanks Swowl!

Why wouldn't the SK just kill gkrieg though? Do they think they need the extra kills from the vig missing to win at this point?

I think so. If gkrieg comes back dead today, and math has cleared someone else, then the other PR claims, we’d have 3 or 4 confirmed town and it would be tough to wiggle. But with math dead, we get no more info from him and now it’s just an argument about if gkrieg is lying or not. Or if the fear was that math checked her, a guilty result would been game over. Better odds there than the POE on the other scenario, right? And she wouldn’t have known she’d have been gkrieg’s target when she decided.

That all works, right? (I haven’t had coffee yet!)

I feel so understood!

Shraeye has been a bit aggressive,  and I seem to remember him doing that as scum back in the old days. Kind of like what happened to Didds. I suspected him and his response really stung. Something about Batman.

11
vote: Shraeye

12
Ugh. I need to stop being stubborn and fragile.

I don't think the SK antagonizes someone like that. The SK follows along.

Shraeye following along would be weird and a red flag.

I'm ok with math/Shraeye/MiX.

13
“Irkedness” is a great word!
Thanks! You're still voting me. Is that intentional?

14
unvote. I didn't realize that in not responding Didds was reacting from the position of irkedness. I know joth asked the question, but I thought she'd want to find out why what Shraeye meant to imply before voting.

Vote: Shraeye

I’m open to moving to one or two other people, but the list is short. I’m heading to Ohio later today to visit friends this weekend so I’ll be a bit scarce, but it’s not like anyone is burning up the thread right now. Catching a serial killer is hard, apparently. (I think this might be my first game that has an outright SK instead of a third party team!)

vote: Didds. It doesn't seem like she gave this vote a lot of thought, given that Shraeye's comment and joth's question were still unaddressed.

17
Vote: shraeye

Sheeping joth.

At least I have the confort in knowing that scum!me knows what town!me does, because I think I'd do this as SK too.

@MiX, Why did you vote Shraeye here? And can you explain your comment about what you would do as town/scum/SK? I don't understand it.

18
This is unfortunate.

We’ll be able to kill scum tomorrow, though.

Right?

Probably?

Anyway. I’m going to sleep. Might not wake up until after deadline.

Best of luck, folks.

This is the second time Eddie said this and he didn't answer my question about the first time. Then goes to sleep without changing his vote despite implying strongly that he thinks Jack is town. What's the message here?

Eddie, this is left over from Day 1. Can you respond?

19
I disagree that SK would be off wagon. If they thought Jack was scum they would vote. Why not? Being off wagon also draws attention. If you want to blend in, vote with the masses! So, the Jack votes/non-votes seem NAI to me.

20
But you get the bodies of the people you kill. So if he killed Joseph who killed scum, then he'd know both identities. Right?
Oh! I forgot about that!

21
How do we find out soon enough? If he's the SK and the vig and both mafia are dead, he could ride this claim to the end of the game, couldn't he?
If he's the SK, scum will know he is lying and will likely shoot him.

SK!gkrieg couldn't have killed both a scum and the vig.
If one of the other two nks were vig or scum, gkrieg wouldn't know that and wouldn't risk this claim.

The only people I feel sure are not the sk are me and gkrieg. I don't think Eddie is either. A number of people are being a bit more distant than usual, but really I wouldn't expect anyone playing now to have left easy clues for us to follow.

Just realized that mathdude, in the post just before mine, said a lot of what I wrote. Sorry math!
