Man, am I glad Adventures isn't a spinoff.

Gotta keep rubbing it in as long as possible, huh?

"Rubbing it in", my eye! Would you rather have a rad new Dominion expansion that you could combine with all the existing cards, or something juuuuust different enough that you couldn't?

Unless it were some kind of add-on like the old WoW/VS ccg Raid decks or like Legendary that allows you to play the same game in a different way.

I can't open YouTube while I'm at work unfortunately.

That's sort of shitty considering most of us probably own the entire game already  :-\

With the final expansion being released, does there seem like there will be any chance at RGG releasing an "official" dominion storage box to house the game? (Perhaps with labeled tabbed dividers)

This seems fun! It can build with a lot of cards to make good engines, and that's always fun.

Definitely Native Village. Setting up those turns is great, and all the tech is awesome.

Got Cornucopia yesterday, and man is it a blast to play! Menagerie, Jester, and Tournament were all-stars.

I just asked because we aren't the best dominion players around here, but I wanted to get another expansion and this one felt like it might work well. Not too many new cards to learn, but a lot of new things to do, you know?

Cornucopia seems like a pretty high-skill expansion, but the cards in themselves seem simple enough. Does it promote any kind of variance?

Just throw out a lab and all is right with the world.

I am surprised no one voted for base.  I almost picked it myself. Spy is one of my favorite cards as far as art goes, and Thief, Throne Room, Council Room, Remodel, Lab, and Adventurer are all pretty cool.  I guess it's just that it has a lot of dumb looking cards too.

Even some of the dumb ones are kind of cool in a quirky way though (like Festival).

I've recently done a homebrew organization, and I was wondering if there are any files out there with all of the card names looking all fancy I can print out onto labels (like the ones included as card lists)?

The extended art on the basic cards is super-purty.

And has anyone tried Alchemy with 3-4 players? Is it any good?

Well, I had a game a while ago where we were setting up Alchemist engines with trashing, so I got the extra potion to help keep the stacking going. I later trashed it when it was no longer needed, naturally.

Is this format any good? I like playing with the Alchemy expansion, but I'm not sure what it's best pair is.

What would everyone think of Dark Ages/Base?

There are a lot of threads about this that can be found in the FAQ.

Thanks, I guess I sort of missed that subforum, since I would have probably looked their first.

It seems like Seaside is the way to go right now.

Dominion General Discussion / Best Pair With Base Set
« on: August 01, 2012, 04:56:39 am »
I got the base set for dominion about 6 months ago, after my sister's friend taut me. We ended up moving about 40 minutes away, so I only really get to play with expansions irl when I go to her house. Obviously the base set gets rather dull after a while.

So, this begs the question: What set would you pair with the base set to get the most replay value?

Sounds like an ideal card game for any misfits fan.

Anyway, what is the going price for one of these? I might see if I might pick one up.
