Fairgrounds, because it is kind of underrated.
It is back up.Sort of. I for one can't create any games.
4.) Respect trash for benefit (TfB). TfB becomes a liability in your deck when opponents go Possession. Either use them earlier and then find a way to get rid of them or ignore them. Ambassador and Masquerate are exceptionally deadly as they can gift Provinces. If Masquerade and Ambassador are on the board you should just go for Possession yourself and hope for the best. Ignoring them does not really help against Possession on a board where Possession is a viable choice, because if that is the case, your opponent will just pass an Ambassador or a Masquerade to you.
I just houseruled Rebuild to cost $6, and I think it works better. It's still good, but it's harder to build your whole strategy around the one card that way.I am pretty sure Rebuild at 6 is a lot worse for the game than it is on 5. Like Familiar at 3p is a lot worse for the game than Familiar at 2p would be.
Cantrip Silver? If it hits a Copper and draws a Copper, it's providing $2 for you, but not being a cantrip on top of that. It's a Peddler in the opening, you'd get the same $ if you opened Tournament.Well yeah, not exactly cantrip Silver, the comparison to Peddler/Tournament is better. But the tournament thing is not exactly true either, because Ironmonger can draw you a copper, then hit an estate and draw you another copper. :>
Herald and Ironmonger, my two favorite 4s.Same for me, although I think Ironmonger should either cost 5 and do something for curses or should have a clause that makes you unable to buy it on turn 1 and 2. I always feel really cheap when buying it on my starting turns because it usually is a cantrip silver for 4 in the beginning unless you get really unlucky (or you got shelters and get a little bit unlucky).
The main exception to the "gain means gain from the supply" rule is Thief/Noble Brigand. The card states that you gain the cards which are trashed, but it does not specify that you gain them from the trash. It's not too big a deal, since it's clearly to most everyone what is intended.Well, it explicitly tells you to gain the trashed cards and not copies of the trashed cards or cards with the same name as the trashed cards.
I look forward to seeing the video and commentary of our game today (spoilers: I lost)Just made it public:
Why no Colony?
I was originally going to have him Herald a Remake, but then all you edgecasers would have mentioned Platinum.
That is a good point, indeed.[Insanity Wolf: Buys Masterpiece; doesn't overpay]Menagerie, Fairgrounds, Young Witch, Forager, Grand Market (), 3-pile ending, you buy it to trash with Watchtower because you fear the enemy rogue and do not want to give him a Silver, Ambassador it to a Spice Merchant "engine" because you do not want to give him Coppers and Curses are empty...
Alright, start your edge casing.
You know you can trash any treasure with Spice Merchant, right?
You can cause freezes on Goko?I've never resigned a game, but I am sure I've had about 40 timeouts/freezes/crashes/blackscreens by now, and I still do have 0% quit rate.
Did you cause those freezes? Or did you suffer from them?

Well, I think there is a difference between choosing not to overpay, versus choosing to overpay by $0.I don't get how you can overpay by 0.
