Rules Questions / Gain Emporium in other player's turn with 5 Durations in play

If it is my opponent's turn and I gain Emporium (maybe due to Messenger with cost reduction) and I have five duration cards out, do I get the On-Gain bonus of +2VP ?

Dominion Isotropic / Why do I lose a level while not playing for 1 day?

The day before yesterday I had a quite successful day on isotropic and finally made it to level 34 on yesterday's leaderboard:

Yesterday I did not play any games and when I look on today's leaderboard, I am level 33 now:

The only number which has changed is the range. How come, that the range and therefore the level changes, when I do not play a game for one day?

I remember that when I went on a 3 weeks holiday in November/December 2011 my level fell from ~30 to 27 in this time, but that might have been also for the general leaderboard change which happened in that time. But as that leaderboard change was already taken back before my return, I expected to have the exact same level as before my holiday. So I think it is the same problem as I described above, only over a longer period of time.
