In this game, NoMoreFun and I, after a brief buildup with Governor, grab Possession so that we can play Governor for +3 cards and then also use the +1 card for opponent, and then we can start King's Courting it. Very quickly, both of us are taking more Possession turns than normal turns. Improving your deck would help your opponent more than you. We buy cards that don't help the opponent while they are possessing you, which in this case is... more Possessions. Then we rush Duchies and Estates (making your deck worse is a good thing) when not buying provinces, and the game slogs and slogs. During my early 7x Possession (before we had ruined our decks), I fail to think of using his Governor remodel to remodel my KCs into Provinces (while of course at the same time remodeling his Gold into a Province) and then lose 42-41, after having 3 Possessions be $1 shy of buying either the last Province or the last two Duchies.

Rules Questions / Talisman + Sir Martin

What happens when you have a Talisman in play and you buy Sir Martin? Do you first gain the copy and then buy whichever knight is below it if you have enough money? Does Talisman not work at all because two different Knights are not "copies" (also meaning that Menagerie and Fairgrounds synergize with knights)? What if you buy a $5 knight with Talisman in play and the next knight revealed is Sir Martin? Does Dame Josephine change any of this?
Also there's a typo in the rulebook for Knights: It says that Sir Martin costs $1 instead of $5.

Dominion General Discussion / Conspirator engine without trashing

Okay, so I just now had a game with Conspirator where on the one hand there's no trashing, and on the other hand there's a Jester to fill my deck with Copper and Curses, but in the soul, ALL of the other 8 cards are good Conspirator enablers. (Warehouse, Worker's Village, Cartographer... pretty much just missing Peddler)

I get one turn with 2 provinces and another turn with 3 provinces but lose anyway by 3 points. Is there something I should have done better, did I lose by dumb luck, or was I just crazy to attempt it at all?
