Ok, thx! I appreciate it.  We noticed it with all of these types of cards:  Treasury, Walled Village, etc.

Goko Dominion Online / Bug??
« on: December 16, 2015, 03:27:25 pm »
My wife and I have noticed when we play online that cards that have "may" in the instructions (which means you don't necessarily have to do what it's saying ie  Walled Village "you may put this back on top of your deck" but you don't have to) don't work.  There is only the choice to put it back, even if you don't want to.  Will this be fixed?

Game Reports / Re: What Makes 3 Player Games Interesting
« on: November 09, 2013, 02:38:24 pm »
IMO 3 player is the best way to enjoy Dominion.  2p is too short, not as much strategy.  4p is cool, but almost too much.  3p is perfect!

Goko Dominion Online / Re: Will You Switch to Goko?
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:05:11 am »
I have made the switch and loving it.  Like others have said, it's still got some tweaks that would make it even better (match-making, leader board, etc.), but the product as it is today is great.  I love it.  I've found several very competitive players, and i'm sure more will come when iso goes down.

Forgive me if this has been asked already... any idea about Black Market and Stash on Goko?

No question, the best Disney animated film is:  Robin Hood

Dominion General Discussion / Re: Iso or Goko?
« on: February 11, 2013, 08:39:47 am »
I've played thousands of games on iso and loved it!  Goko is not perfect yet, and I have to assume the little things it needs (search option, couple of bugs fixed, counting quits against people, etc.) will be taken care of soon.  That said, I have completely made the switch to Goko and I'm loving it!  The cards are beautiful, the game play doesn't take long to get used to, and it's flowing very nicely now.  Part of the fun is seeing the art work (one of the reasons I love playing IRL!) and the Goko site has come a long way in several months.  I'm happy I made the switch and am looking forward to the day Goko is a complete product.

Goko Dominion Online / Re: Why aren't *you* playing on Goko?

Sorry, didn't know where else to post this question:  On Goko, which rooms are casual, which are pro, etc.?  Thanks for any help here.

It's hard to pick an entire set as my favorite.  As for individual cards, Bishop is my absolute favorite.  Ill-Gotten Gains and Mining Village are awesome.  And I think I'm with everyone else when I say that Navigator and Harem are not very good.

You may notice that as the expansions go along there's sort of an abandoning of the idea of being able to feasibly play each card as part of a physical deck, to viewing at as more of a computerized thing.  So cards like Hunting Party are fairly simple, pretty awesome, and work fine in a computerized setting, but physically playing chains of Hunting Parties is a bitch.  Reveal my hand, reveal cards, put card in hand, play HP, reveal hand, reveal cards, put card in hand, play HP...
I see it as the opposite! I was not initially concerned with cards taking too long to resolve. After Alchemy revealed that this could be an issue, I paid attention to it in later sets.

Hunting Party is easy: put your hand face up on the table.

Besides, Hunting Party is the best card in all of Dominion, IMHO!

Dominion General Discussion / Re: Possession, a poll!
« on: April 16, 2012, 08:19:03 am »
In my opinion, this is a great card!  Very creative, a nasty attack, and it's fun.  There are so many whiners out there, "it's too slow"  "i get frustrated"  etc., etc.  It's part of the Dominion world and all the cards do something different and have their place and time to play.  You win some, you lose some.  Possession is a great part of the game.  No one whines they're playing KC/Possession on an opponent!

Dominion Isotropic / Re: Decline of civility on isotropic?
« on: December 17, 2011, 10:10:50 am »
I too have experienced a pretty severe lack in sportsmanship when playing on isotropic.  A few manners (hello, hf, etc.) go a long way to making the game that much more fun.  And at the end, saying good game is the least that everybody could do.  It's just a game, people, and an extremely fun one at that.  Let's not diminish it by taking it so seriously.  You win some, you lose some.  Say good game and give that virtual handshake at the end of the game.
