I was playing a game with Druid and Tunnel, with The Sun's Gift as one of the set aside boons.
When I played Druid to receive The Sun's Gift, I used it to discard Tunnels from the top of my deck. However, I was not given the option to reveal those Tunnels to receive Golds.
It gets weirder. Later, when I had a Tunnel in my hand, and used The Sun's Gift to discard a different Tunnel from the top of my deck, I was given the option to reveal the Tunnel in my hand to receive a Gold.
I'll agree that my initial reasoning was a bit out there.
Protecting shared passwords is a much better reason. You may notice that SMF only sends them over the wire after hashing them, but without the opportunity for a salt, so a rainbow table attack on these password is still possible.
The forum isn't protected by HTTPS. This means if we login to the forum on a shared WiFi connection, someone can steal our session and impersonate us. Given that pseudo-offical rulemaking is done on this forum, I think it's a serious issue.
With free (even wildcard) certificates from letsencrypt.org, there's not much of a burden to securing a domain like this these days.
Thanks Awaclus for the engine strategy, I didn't even know that engines could be based around Throne Room. I've played about 20 games with this strategy, but I can't get the timing right (still haven't been able to beat the bot). I open with Moneylender + Silver, and then try to get 3 Witches as soon as possible. Then I alternate buying Throne Room, Festival, and Moats whenever I can, adding one or two Silvers when I can only play 3 treasure.
The challenge was intended for a 2 player game, majiponi. Thanks for your strategy, I will try it out.
Edit: Thanks majiponi, with your strategy, I finally won some games on this kingdom! #15168860, #15175957, #15176111
