The thing is though, it uses the word "Reveal".  Is there any mechanism that would prevent the same 3 cards from being revealed each time?

What happens when you play Black Market during the time when you play treasures within Black Market?

I just had a game where Prince + Ruined Village was the only way to get extra actions (no cantrips even!), but it was good enough to play two Goons a turn.

Game was #31952202 on oregon.

Game Reports / Pulled off the Raid + Conquest combo

The Raid + Conquest combo can only really be pulled off with strong card draw, +buy, and lots of money.  I got it in a game with Margrave and Bandit Camp.  Had a turn where I had 6 silvers in play, then used Raid, and used Conquest three times.

Of course, this is much smaller than the VP you get in a Goons game, but still much more points than all the basic victory cards.

If you gain Guardian/Ghost Town/Night Watchman/Den of Sin with Develop/Artificer, does it go to the top of your deck, or to your hand, or do you get a choice?

Dominion Online is putting it on your deck with no choice.

What does everyone think the Least thematic card is?

I'd have to say Avanto.  Swimming in ice cold water does not net you 3 cards.

I'd put Minion at second.

Opulent Castle is the only card that lets you discard multiple cards with restrictions on what kinds of cards can be discarded.  Since the official rules for discarding say that you don't need to reveal cards beyond the top discarded card, this could provide an opportunity to cheat by discarding non-victory cards for coins.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but here's a basic strategy that invokes Transmogrify and Province.
Buy up transmogrifies, and buy provinces early.  Turning estates into silvers or duchies into gold helps here.  Important thing is to maintain a short-term VP lead.
When you have a lot of transmogrifies on the tavern mat, use them to end the game with a province in hand.

How effective is this strategy?  I bet it could be refined further, for how to play, how many things to buy, etc.

Rules Questions / +1 Card token on a treasure?

With split piles, you can have +1 Card tokens on treasure supply piles, such as Rocks or Plunder.  What happens when you play the treasures?  Do you just get cards?

I somehow managed to win a game where I got all the Rats, and Tower was on the board.
I got my other VP from Potion + Vineyards.

Does resigning count as quitting, or are you talking about people that disconnect?

Game Reports / Scheme + Ironworks + Treasure Map vs Sea Hag slog game

I just finished a game against a bot where sea hags and curses went out immediately.
I ended up getting several Schemes and an Ironworks.
And that is how I filled up my deck with Treasure Maps, and it was the only way to get provinces.

Game Reports / Haggler + Border Village + Royal Seal = Ridiculous

Hagglers and Border Villages are crazy enough together, but my board also had Royal Seal, so the newly acquired border villages, hagglers, and royal seals go to the top of your deck.  This led to basically me repeating lots of gains when buying provinces, over a period of several turns.

The only explanation I can think of for why someone thought that was a good idea was if they thought they would be able to use the reaction every turn.

Unless you were playing against Lord Bottington.

Another possibility is that they wanted to Prince something else (like Margrave) but it lined up with Horse Traders instead.  Not wanting to wait another shuffle to get Prince magic going, they played Prince on HT without thinking through the consequences (especially with a discard attack on the board).

I found out the hard way that you can't Prince a Margrave, because it costs more than 4.

I was just in this online game which I thought was particularly amusing.
My opponent had a 5/2 start, and took Margrave on turn 1, and was pretty much running away with the game.
Then he got Prince with Horse Traders as the card played once a turn.
I had a Margrave, and could use well-timed Inns to reliably get Margrave out, then used more Margraves and Inns to get him out once a turn.  So my opponent was basically playing with a 1 card hand.  I went on to win the game.
