You were right. Theater was not the best clue, though I didn't want to do heart until after Box was taken (chocolate heart boxes) but we got box anyway lol. I never saw deck coming from either of those clues, though.

So HORSE is obvious.

Other connections I see, in no particular order:
You could grow ROSEs on a farm
A barn is kinda a GARAGE for animals.
GUITAR, for the country music connection
PRIVATE since farms are usually in remote locations
SOUL, also for the country music connection, though I'm less sure on this one.
FLY as an insect that infects farm animals.
KNIFE as a maybe maybe maybe.

Out of those, I think we could go Private -> guitar -> rose -> garage -> fly, I think is my preferred order.
