It's neat that Wheelwright works with Potion and Debt cost cards. Looking forward to choosing to play such a card or to gain a copy of it.
Having played with this copy on Saturday, I concur!RGG sent out half of the copies on the indicated day, whatever day that was. The rest would be a few days later, dunno the day. LF was sent a copy directly and got it already. So, LF, please tell us all about it
The short version: It's a great expansion, and the components are good!
Online gaming is a service, not a product. A product (like Dominion Offline) you buy once and it requires no further work on anyone's part, you use it until you no longer wish to use it, it is consumed, or it breaks. A service (like Dominion Online) requires the entity providing the service (Stef & SCSN (or more likely, their company)) to continue to spend resources to make the service usable. Based on this, I would expect to pay as I use this service. Sure, it would be great if I never had to pay to play Dominion Online. That isn't reality. While that is all true, it doesn't stop other companies from providing perpetual online play for a one-time fee. See Ticket to Ride or Kingdom Builder for example.
I'm feeling hopeful that they will have the Adventures cards available by mid February. Getting a tablet version took a long time to get everything worked out and now I think Adventures will be up and running before we know it. And no, I don't drink the Making Fun kool-aid.Six new tokens, plus the tavern mat for each player; fitting that on screen; making it all visible and look halfway decent; events.
