This probably should have been in Alchemy, since its best friend resides there.

Yeah, transmute is pretty lonely at the bottom...

Is this well tested in 4 player games? It seems to be very swingy and somewhat political (like buying Flagbearer just to capture the flag from another player).

Small question: Flag Key interacts with Outpost, but not with Guide, have I understood that correctly? And it is often (but not always) worse than Hireling or Princed Ruined Library in case of handsize attacks.

The majority of playtesting is done IRL with 3-4 player games.

The sensors are located about a car length back at certain intersections. Sometimes it's optimal to back up if you are the only one waiting to turn.

You can use discord entirely in browser. (That's what I do)

Werewolf is quickly becoming one of my favorite cards. It's just so positive and generous. Practically costs nothing at all at five coin you drop him on the board and that chill ass motherfucker gives you a smithy to use later in the game. And you also get this adorable little hex can ping things but usually is too harmless to be resolved.

But more than the ww is just so positive. It comes on the board like "do you want to cast a hex?" and I'm like "yeah ww i do want to cast a hex let's do this shit" and when he attacks he's like "HEXES ARE FUN" and I'm like "yeah they are SO FUN." He doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" he's just like "nah hexes are fun." And it looks so happy. I mean this is an anthropomorphic wolf literally brought to life by treasure cards. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dude is just fucking loving it. I mean look at his face he's just so happy.

I am literally never sad when werewolf is on board. IDK if he's gonna make it into the metagame or not but for now he (or she) a pretty chill card

On a (now) unrelated note, I found it much easier to quit previous addictions if I cut myself out of all related communities/forums as well. I recognize that this is hard to do, especially if one has friends there.

I know what you mean to say here. But I paid for that membership on coughsyrupfriends.org and I'm not going to just throw 6,42 away.

There are all kinds of reasons quitting something might be difficult! The argument is still the same. If you don't want to play a game anymore, the amount you spent doesn't actually matter.

jsh, what are your matchmaking parameters set at? If you play worse players, there tends to be much lesss downtime.

I'm a top level player, and I'm not a baby. I'd like to play people around my level. But it would be cool if I could play them faster.

Kieran's post is the one I agree with most here. The culture of thinking it's okay to spend several minutes thinking through actions at the top level has significantly hurt my own online experience, especially since having a kid. It gets harder to justify playing by the day.

For the record, if I had my choice of timer, no joke, i'd probably set it to 1 minute total down time pet turn for each player. I agree very much with the sentiment, "if someone makes a suboptimal play, so be it."

It looks like you're getting the images from cropping pictures of the cards, which are picking up some of the borders. I'd just recommend using the art by itself, which you can see in every wiki article. It saves you the time of cropping and doesn't pick up any of those border artifacts.
It takes too long

What have we done...

Thanks for posting this. Otherwise I'd have missed out on a lot of funny posts.

Totally unrelated what is the common English term for the person doing a lecture or tutorial at a university that works in both cases? That person isn't always a professor. Lecturer?

Instructor

"Tutor" would be okay in a lot of settings, and I think it has more academic connotations than "instructor". It's true that in the UK, "professor" is usually reserved for tenured professorships, whereas in the US it tends to mean almost anyone with an academic teaching post. It also depends on what you understand by the word tutorial :-)

As an instructor, I never heard the word tutor used for the speaker of record at an educational meeting. "Tutor" usually refers to somebody who works with a student one on one.

That said, if the question is "what should I call this person verbally to get their attention," then the answer is that if they do not have a PhD, you either say "professor" or "Mr./Mrs./MS. Name."

I don't know anybody who uses metric units over here. I agree that it's troubling, but then it's hardly the only anti intellectual trend in the US.

Confirming there is no "I think." The card has not been implemented. It's on the "banned" list for the sake of simplicity.
