Just making sure I understand the system: does one team in each group sit out every week?I was also wondering this, and I think indeed every week one team in every group does not have to play.
Edit: The rules say that the round phase involves 3 matches per team, so I guess I was wrong. I'm sure I'm just being incredibly dense, but can someone clarify what happens each round/how many rounds there are?

I may have made the mistake on scheduling a match with AI.
But as I look over the threads, I'm still not sure whether I made a mistake or not. Initially, I understood the 3 matches for group B posted at the beginning of this thread to be this week's matches.

If Rabid wins 4-2, Sweden and Germany won exactly the same number of games (Hope I did't miscount). What would happen in this scenario? (Nothing found in rules)

So the fifth game, retlet said he had treasures in hand to play and misclicked on the last turn. $3 more would have made him win the game instead of me, which affects the outcome of the match. Since a win here for me means USA B will beat Japan A and the stakes are so high, and it comes down to that misclick, my first inclination is to offer retlet another game to replace that because I feel terrible for all this happening on a misclick, but we should see more results and I should discuss it with the rest of my team (and Qvist, and retlet) before making such a call.
So I talked it over with my team mates; it doesn't make much sense to delay the tournament over this. It's really unfortunate but it's not only my tournament life at stake -- it's my entire team's as well. I will continue to feel bad that it was potentially a misclick (plus some other good luck for me) that resulted in us advancing but a win is a win and that's the way it went down.
Sorry for the waffling, everybody.

Alright, I definitely don't force a rematch here. If it would have been Goko's fault, it would be a totally different story. I hope retlet doesn't feel to bad about this. Misclicks happen all the time and I for myself have lost a couple of matches only because of misclicks or miscounting. Cheer up, it's still only a game.
