Title: Tie In Innovation

Managed to tie on score an achievements, which seems reasonably unlikely (especially as our scores & number of achievements were non-zero). Never tied at Innovation before, wondering how often it actually occurs??

Well, that explains it.

..seems reasonably unlikely...

Perhaps, but not infinitely improbable.

Am I missing something?  Why did the game end?

Am I missing something?  Why did the game end?

The second part of Slide Rule's dogma effect is "Draw a card of value equal to the value of your lowest top card plus the number of colors you have splayed."  For Joseph this is 6+5, so the game ends by attempting to draw a card of value greater than 10.  (We know it had to be something like this because Iso lists the end condition as "victory by score".)

In a 3-player game, we managed to tie at 0 with 5 achievements each after my last-ditch Fission left only 3 cards in the supply... two in age 1 and one in age 10.

EDIT: 4 each, it was 3-player.

this one was a tie too and it happened completely randomly by shared genetics
