When I search for Guilds on the RGG site, I get to this picture:
(see: http://www.riograndegames.com/search.html?s=guilds)
Maybe an image section of some card artwork?

Previously, the other games had similar teasers, but they all seem to have switched to just the box art.

Yeah, but this one's hidden in the search results. At least for now the actual Guilds site doesn't contain the picture (or I just don't see it).

And that was the same for the other sets.
So apparently there's a "Candles" kingdom card in Guilds.

The description on RGG mentioned the candlestick makers guild.

Before Dark Ages came out, I searched the pages of some of the artists that were listed as making the art for some of the dominion cards (at the time I was searching for images for the Fan Expansion Contest, which is still lacking complete art by the way). We were able to find a couple of artists that had posted images of what looked to be new Dominion card art and had tags beneath it that said it was for RGG--I think we found Death Cart, a couple of the Knights and a few more. It was kinda fun to speculate what the cards could.

That was Marco Morte, and I just checked his flickr. Nothing. :(

Then undoubtedly there is a butcher and a baker as well.

That's exactly the reference in the Guilds description, in case you missed it:
The guilds cover everything – ironic tilling, butchering, baking, candlestick making, shoemaking, cheesemaking, cheese destruction.

Here is another image from the RGG site - the Breadmakers Guild?

Oh my. That's.... That's worse than Navigator.

Strongly disagree.

Is that to say you like this image or that you think Navigator is simply worse?
I think it's a cute picture, but it's not right for Dominion. I really hope this isn't a preview for card art.

The image is growing on me, but I meant that Navigator is worse.

I sincerely hope it's placeholder art.

On Rio Grande's site? Doubtful.

Probably artwork for the rule book.

Probably artwork for the rule book.
Unlikely. You can see the white curtain/border of action cards on the left hand side - so probably this is indeed an artwork. The style looks a bit similar to the Hunting Grounds art.

Good spot on the border. But it's far too wide to be a crop from a card, so why leave the border on one side?

Not necessarily. I've just pasted it into Shanty Town:

Oh my, I'm fearfully waiting to see the part that they decided to crop out.

The girl's legs? The floor? This is SO exciting!

Consider me surprised. I did look at a card scan, but only eyeballed it.

Simon Jannerland had posted the Hunting Grounds artwork on his blog (http://simonjannerland.blogspot.com/2012/03/poachers.html#comment-form) last March.

Also, the Dominion: Guilds logo looks out of place, which is even more evidence that it is card art.
-
I expect "baker" over "breadmaker". The woman's face looks horizontally stretched or vertically compressed, but the white banner and the bread and everything look OK, so I'm not sure if the image is stretched after all.
-
The picture is clearly the mat on which you place your new "bread" tokens.

I no longer have a copy of this. I remember it being quite fun, but that that feeling was not shared by everybody.
-
*snrk* Wow. That looks like the best case of Engrish I've ever seen. That picture is definitely not of bread.

Yeah, the British are notoriously awful at translating their native tongue into English.
In other news, a quick Wikipedia search turned up this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bread_(TV_series) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bread_(TV_series)).
-
Those are bank notes, money, "bread".
-
Bread was a comedy drama on British TV in the eighties maybe. The chicken in a basket was from that show.
