Title: Resources for Pokemon TCG
Post by: Taco Lobster on December 28, 2012, 01:29:55 pm
I bought my kids some Pokemon decks for Christmas (they are 6 and 8 ), and, given that you fine folks seem to have a rash of pokemon infesting your signature blocks, thought you might be able to point me to some good websites for the game.  When I try googling it, I get a bunch of sketchy looking website stores and the like.

Also, if anyone has any thoughts/pointers/tips/etc. for a newb, I'm all ears.

I actually used the game compatively for 3 or so years. I don't follow much anymore because of the amount of money it costs.

I was actually a part of the forum at a website for a while. There are some nice people there, they could help you better than I could.

I don't follow the TCG any more, but when I had a look recently I found this list (http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3466495) helpful.  I don't know what there is available for young children (the unofficial forums I've frequented are probably more of a teen and up thing).
