Title: Resigning?
Post by: kn1tt3r on December 21, 2012, 07:13:27 am
Do you always get 0 points when you're opponent resigns? It seems rather odd to me...

EDIT: Or has my opponent left some other way? How do you see the difference?

EDIT 2: I think I've figured it out. If the opponent just leaves, you get 0 points, if he resigns, you win the game. Still doesn't make sense.

Currently, the rating system can be exploited. If you're about to lose, you can refresh your browser and not lose any points. I don't do this myself, but I know a few people on Goko that do exploit this loophole. But, really, it is very easy to exploit.

The resign system is atrocious for 3+ player games--it kills the game immediately, allowing no resolution between the other two players.

Really??? As if Goko didn't have enough unforgivable flaws already.
