I'm not going to call out anyone in particular, because I've seen it multiple times here. Maybe they're all the same person, maybe not, I wasn't paying attention that much, but it's gotten to the point that it is trying my patience to not respond to each individually.
"Duchy" is what is ruled by a Duke. "Dutchy", if it is a word at all, would mean something like "similar to something from the Netherlands". The two words are entirely unconnected other than the fact most people will pronounce them exactly the same.
If I spelled something wrong myself, please feel free to correct it.

Yes, I find that quite annoying. Dutchy is what I would tend to call someone whose last name is Holland. :P
-
You're just mad that you can't afford a Provints.
-
A friend IRL calls them Doucheys and Harlems.
-
My bad!
Maybe this should be an official mascot at Dominion tournaments. Just some Dutch guy.
Go Dutchies!

I guess the desire to sing "Pass the dutchy 'pon the left hand side" during practically every game doesn't happen to people who weren't around in Britain in the early eighties. Yeah, so "Musical Youth" spelled it "Dutchie". They also claimed it was a cooking implement, and they lied:

Similar to something from the Netherlands. Indeed.

Since I'm Canadian, I know dutchie best as one of these:

A big square honey glazed donut with raisins.
-
Looks like you've just played "Soggy Biscuit" with it.
-
I played a playtest game with one of these. It didn't shuffle very well with the other cards.

I'm glad someone else brought this up. Perhaps themed card list is appropriate?

I'm a Dutchy!
Viva Hollandia! :)
-
I wear clogs but I am not Dutch.
-
I wear regular shoes and yet I am.
I even live in a regular house (not a windmill), my head is made of normal flesh and brains (not cheese), I don't smoke pot (even though it's legal), I do like to spend money (sometimes too much) and I don't go on holiday with a camper/caravan (I book appartments mostly).
This is not Holland:

Although we still like to make tourists believe it is, so they will pay shitloads of $$$ for such corny pictures!

That picture is totally The Netherlands.
