Title: Base/Alchemy

Is this format any good? I like playing with the Alchemy expansion, but I'm not sure what it's best pair is.

If you are talking about base set vs. Intrigue, I would probably say yes. Although there are some nice combos in Intrigue, there is nothing like Throne Rooming a Golem or Scrying Pool. (Besides KCing them:) Gardens are always fun with a huge Alchemy deck, and I prefer Witch over Torturer. Well, that's my opinion; let's see what the other guys say.

I've found that Alchemy will work best with probably one of the expansions that came before it. Not Prosperity, though. KC-Alchemy is a mess.

And has anyone tried Alchemy with 3-4 players? Is it any good?
