Legs straight out or cross legged?

Often with the legs stretched out and crossed at the ankles, but I suffered a sitting accident years ago, so I can't keep that up. I mix it up by sitting with my knees bent and feet on the floor.
I know that the experts can sit with their feet curled up underneath them. I'm still training for that.

I have sat for hours on end. There are those in the association who accuse me of using performance-enhancing drugs. I stand (sit) by my claim that I've never used performance-enhancing drugs to marathon sit. The FDA has never ruled conclusively whether Starcraft should be classified a drug. Therefore, I believe that my marathon sitting is still legitimate.

When I sit on the floor I often have one foot on the floor under my leg and the other foot on top of my other leg, instead of both feet crossed underneath. I'm told this is strange. Anyone else do it?

No. But as I type this, my right foot is bent under my butt, and my left foot is on the floor (I'm sitting in a chair). And I've been like this for... hours maybe? I honestly don't know how long. Seems very natural and comfortable.

sitting like this improves your balance and is more comfortable. it is a key reason why jonts26 is a good dominion player.

switch up the feet and that is how i usually drive.

Oh, I'm wonderful at this! I have trained with the experts, and am now capable of sitting for hours on end.
I know that the experts can sit with their feet curled up underneath them. I'm still training for that.

What kind of sitting are we talking about in this thread? House-sitting? Cat-sitting? I'm kind of partial to baby-sitting, though it can be difficult to find a comfortable baby. And they usually don't like it when you sit on them.

I always do this, but the other way, at my desk at work. I can't do it with my right leg bent under me though, it's just not comfortable. At home on my sofa I usually have feet up on my coffee table, and towards the end of the sitting-session I've usually slumped down so much that my legs are on the table, my back is on the seat of the sofa, and head is the only part of my body resting against the back of the sofa. In this position my laptop is more of a chesttop.

Sounds oddly comfortable. Although that is probably horrible for your neck, though.

My best friend and I engage in what we call "epic sitting". Imagine sitting, but extreme.

Yes, I've seen people using those before. I think I'd be interested in trying one.

My dad has one of those. I remember looking at it thinking it would be super uncomfortable. If I had more space now that I've moved out, I'd get one. They are super nice to sit in.

It is not like the most comfortable chair ever but supposedly super good for your posture.

Yeah the guy who sold me the chair was like super intense about how sitting kills more people than ~anything. Seriously, he was like "its most likely about the most harmful you are doing to yourself". He was pretty good at selling ;D (although I was planning on spending 4 times more than I did so maybe not)
