... and you're only playing Base+Intrigue.

... and you have to be nice :D instead of evil >:(, otherwise your reputation will fall and you won't be able to play anymore...

I am told that the cause of the outage is a loss of electricity at Doug's end.  So no sinister machinations at play here.

Don't think this explanation will stop my wild conspiracy theories as to WHY electricity was lost at his end!

edit for clarity: ;)

Yeah, the machine is unreachable.  Not much I can do about it until I get home from work in a few hours.

I figured it was something like that, but I still worried that someday soon when the real app is available, it's going to be kind of like this...

Well, it'll be like this, except talk of the real app will be all over the forums.

Are you sure its not become self aware and decided the only way it can win is not to play anymore?

This thread (and the outage) prompted me to try boardgamearena.  I am....  not impressed.  Although I hate it less than BSW.  Isotropic gets it right in so many ways...

Yeah. Isotropic is clean, simple and fast. BSW and BGA use annoying sounds and animations and whatnot that slow down the game unnecessarily without actually adding anything, and the card graphics are huge so you can actually see less of everything. When the official game comes out, I sure hope it will be more like Isotropic than BSW or BGA.

Or you haven't gone far enough down the rabbit hole...

Its actually nice for some other games (I play Gosu and RtfG there often, others from time to time) but for Dominion its just inadequate.

Website didn't load, so I found this forum -- which actually turned out to be a mistake, because the more I read about the game the more I want to play. Hi! Nice to meet you.

I tried that other site - it's slow & I couldn't tell what was happening. I may try to play carcassonne though - but not right now. Nope, now all I want to know is whether I can follow the server status on twitter. xD

I think dominionstrategy.com traffic is unusually high today, perhaps because of its substitute for iso effect.

Back online now -- my house had lost power today.  (It will also be down tomorrow, for the same reason -- that outage was scheduled; today's was an accident.)

I'm assuming the reset did something to the ratings?  Or else everyone in the world is equal now, according to our benevolent overlord...

Long live the communist paradise that is the new Isotropic.

Not that I'm playing only for the sake of levels but mine look a bit weird too.  I played 2 games yesterday (councilroom only shows 1), went 2-0 and lost a level.  oh well.

Also - long time reader, first time poster.

I played not at all and GAINED a level, having my SD drop - I'm guessing he had to pull from like a day old archive.

I think I lost a level from 35 to 35, so maybe it's just old data?
