This IS possible! In a solo game, reduce your deck to absolutely... Nothing. PM me your iso. log by midnight on May 12, 2012, EST.
Rules:
Nothing in your deck, Nothing in your discard, Nothing in your hand. Zero.
You may use Island. (this is impossible to do without Island)
Banned cards:
Native Village

this was actually the second puzzle the blog posted, right after the buy all colonies in 5 turns one. link (http://dominionstrategy.com/2011/06/02/dominion-puzzle-2/)

Right. Oops... oh well. I thought this had been done before. Never mind

(But at that link, the solution is a dead link. Not too hard to figure out, though.)

On a tangent, has there ever been a solo challenge to win by emptying all the kingdom card piles in the fewest possible turns? Obviously it would have to end on a turn that bought at least 8 cards, but that's common enough. The trick would be to set up a kingdom with cards you could afford to buy nine or ten of and still have a working engine. It sounds fun... has it been done?

I was going to ban Chapel and Steward to make it harder, though.

Not just all Kingdom cards though... ALL cards!
-
Wow! Geronimoo's explosive game is amazing. I would never have guessed that the entire kingdom could be purchased that quickly!

Link fixed. There are a bunch of links from around then that are mysteriously broken, and I thought I had tracked them all down. Apparently not!

I was sitting at work today feeling all smug because I had found out a way to do it without using Island.
It involved Feast and Embargo shennanigans
Now I walked through the door I realised I still wouldnt be able to get rid of chapel and feel a bit stupid.
Just wanted to share that, carry on.

We need this card.
Thwarted Scheme
Action $3
+1 Card; +1 Action
At the start of Clean-up this turn, you may choose an Action card you have in play. If you discard it from play this turn, trash it.

Which does just about work as long as you KC it.
-
Could of course combine the two challenges - no cards in the discard pile, hand or deck, or the supply. :)

Hm, reminds me of War Games. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHWjlCaIrQo&t=03m34s
