Yes, an old bug hat can happen if a pile empties, then gets filled up again (Experment in your game). Strangely but fortunately, it doesn't affect the actual point calculation, Lord Rat was shown to have 30 points during game end and during the end of game screen, which corresponds to 0 Tower points.
