I think it needs to be a 4-cost at least so it doesn't get double opened. It might be an interesting idea to make it cost a single potion, though.

My first instinct says $5. I know IGG costs $5, but IGG comes with a treasure you don't really want. This comes with nothing.

Lab also costs $5 and this is the opposite for your opponent.

That's the right way to think about it, but it also
- gives -1 VP
- allows your opponent to trash one more card
If the board cannot trash, though, it seems better than a lab.

Right. So it’ll be better than Lab on some boards, worse on others. Sounds like a $5 effect. I do worry about it being too oppressive for not much gameplay gain, though.
