Ambassador fails to put things that aren't from the supply back. But Way of the Horse returns any action card to "its pile". So you can now put that Followers back in the Prize pile! Also works on Teacher, etc.
*Edit* I guess Teacher could have already been out back with Changeling. But Prizes cost $0.

How would Changeling put back Teacher? You never gain Teachers, so the Changeling exchange effect can't trigger on Teachers.

You can gain them from the trash.

What happens to Black Market cards?

What happens to Black Market cards?
Black Market isn't a pile, so they still don't go anywhere

Necropolis?

Necropolis?
No pile, so nowhere for it to return. In fact, the FAQ for Way of the Horse explicitly mentions it "The card returns to its pile, even if that is a non-Supply pile. A card with no pile, such as Necropolis (from Dark Ages), fails to return to its pile.", with similar wording for Way of the Butterfly
With Prizes, Tournament specifically uses the phrasing "gain any Prize (from the Prize pile)" thereby defining a "Prize pile" that they come from

They get returned to the supply, just like Farmers' Market cards.

It does not work that way -- at least online (is it programmed wrong?). Unfortunately I had read this thread shortly before it came up in a game, and learned the hard way. :(

If you mean cards you got from the Black Market deck, then that's correct. There's no pile for them to return to, so they have nowhere to go. If you mean the actual Black Market cards themselves, then they should work just like any other card

Awaclus likes responding to things literally. If the literal interpretation of what they say differs from the useful way, always assume the literal one is what is meant.

Awaclus was just making a bad joke pretending that people were talking about the card called Black Market, even though they were talking about cards that are from the Black Market deck.

Congratulations, awaclus -- you got me!! No, I would have not been confused otherwise, but I mistakenly assumed you had enough "street cred" to believe you. My bad!
