Title: Piazza and Duration cards
Post by: Doom_Shark on May 29, 2019, 02:17:03 pm
If I reveal and play a duration with Piazza, it's still the start of my turn when it resolves, right? If so, does that mean I get the start-of-turn bonus of the duration card?

Yes.

It depends on the wording of the Duration. It's the start of your turn, but not the start of your next turn. So Wharf (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Wharf), for example, will give you 2 cards and a buy now, and 2 cards and a buy next turn. But Hireling (http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Hireling), for example, says "At the start of each of your turns for the rest of the game", so you would draw immediately from the Piazza'd Hireling.

• Start-of-turn window: Play a card (via Ghost/Innovation/Piazza/Prince/Summon). If it's a Reserve card like Ratcatcher, can call it now. If it's Hireling, Prince, Fool gaining Lost in the Woods, or Treasurer gaining Key, the start-of-turn ability starts now.
