Title: Sacrifice + Inheritance bug? (Game ID #25030628)

Hi all,

I just played game #25030628 and inherited Patron. Later I tried to trash an Estate with Sacrifice, but only got 2 VP.
Shouldn't I have got +2 Card and +2 Actions, too? Is this a possible bug in Dominion Online?

The only other explanation I could think of, is timing. If the Estate is already in the trash when Sacrifice looks for its types, it is not mine any more and the Inheritance effects are not active any more. But I am not sure about this.

Your explanation is exactly correct. Almost all trash for benefit effects look at the card characteristics after the trash (Ritual being the exception). Not a difference normally, but can be with Inheritance, as you witnessed.

Okay, thanks. Makes sense, thinking longer about it.
At that moment I first thought "Wow, cool synergy!" and then got disappointed  :-[
